The cruise

Come and discover Quiberon Bay during a half-day sailing training course on a yacht equipped for the open sea! Jean-Claude, your skipper, will lead you to discover the joys of sailing in this magical bay, a playground for the greatest skippers in ocean racing.

Your possible stops during this cruise

Upon arrival in Haliguen Port, the charming port in Morbihan which was previously a small sardine fishing port, the skipper will welcome you on board.
This will be followed by a quick theoretical briefing on the basic principles of how a yacht functions, route rules, maritime buoyage, and nautical charts: the elementary safety rules. Without being overly long, these pieces of knowledge will allow you to get the most out of your yacht trip.

You'll then leave the port and become the boat's captain!

Your playground for this introduction to sailing will be Quiberon Bay.
Quiberon Bay is actually a very well-sheltered sailing area due to the islands around which protect it from the wind. In half a day, weather permitting, you can sail as far as the island of Houat and back. You unfortunately won't have the time to visit this small fishing island, but you'll get a glance which will definitely make you want to return!

During your introduction to sailing, you'll be able to steer, hoist and adjust the sails, and start learning how to read nautical charts. Whether you're a beginner or already have some experience, you're welcome on board!
