The cruise

Departing from La Marina du Marin in south Martinique, Alain will take you on an exploration of the paradise islands of the Grenadines via Saint Lucia, Bequia, Canouan and the Tobago Cays. For further info on the islands, visit click here.

Your possible stops during this cruise

The day of your arrival, Alain will welcome you on board his catamaran (with a store of victuals selected before your departure) then sail you to Saint Lucia (a 2-3 hour journey). If you're lucky enough to sail on a Friday, you'll get to take part in the island's weekly celebration, ""Friday Nights"", with musicians and DJs pumping our crazy Caribbean beats. The following day, you'll sail to Bequia, a former whale-hunting zone and your first port of call in the dreams islands of the Grenadines!

On the following days you'll visit Canouan where you can admire one of the largest coral reefs of the Caribbean, as well as the Tobago Cays, a series of islands with white sands, coconut trees and turquoise waters, much adored by filmmakers. Alain has tubas and masks so that you can make the most of the region's incredible undersea life – turtles, multi-coloured fish and if you're lucky magnificent, elegant rays!



Alain is flexible about the cruise route, how long you sail for and what you do on- and off-board. Feel free to contact us if the dates don't suit. We'll be only too pleased to find something convenient for you and will be only too pleased to help you!


Alain is also a keen fisherman and well-equipped. On his catamaran, he always has two fishing rods trailing the waters – a chance for you to savour fresh tuna on deck plucked straight from the turquoise waters.

During stopovers, Alain will be only too delighted to advise you where to eat – like the beach restaurant in Tobago, where the chef Romeo serves delicious Lambi!



Our Skippair advice!

The Grenadines have a wealth of culinary treasures. Don't stock up too much at the Port du Marin. Do your basic shopping (as supermarkets are rare and fairly expensive in the Grenadines). Let Alain guide in the best places to find fresh fish, lambi and sea urchins and your cruise will be a feast. Alain and Mirella, who works alongside him as hostess, will wow you with their recipes.

The Cruise :Paysages merveilleux, mouillages toujours idéaux, Moustique est belle et surprenante, les Tobago Cayes nous ont permis de découvrir des iguanes, d'énormes Bernard l'Hermites et des fonds marins splendides. L'organisation de notre séjour fut sans aucun problème, il faut se laisser le temps de se connaître, et zou c'est parti ! Rien ne nous a manqué sinon qu'une mer un peu plus calme le dernier jour. A consommer sans modération !

The Skipper :Alain est un "bonhomme" tel que je les conçois: franc, rassurant et excellent marin. Il connaît et aime ses îles et son bateau et se pliera en quatre pour vous faire de simples mais magiques surprises ! Il cuisine de plus les langoustes, lambis et poissons de manière magistrale et aux épices locales.....connais les bons contacts auprès des pêcheurs etc etc.....je ne peux que le recommander avec une mention spéciale à notre jolie hôtesse Anaïs qui fut au top!
