The cruise

Head off to discover and explore the Cyclades, the legendary islands of the Aegean Sea. Giorgos, your professional skipper, is ready to welcome you aboard his sailing ship for a week-long cruise around this island archipelago, considered one of the most beautiful areas in Greece. It's possible to organise your own tailored programme, choosing from a variety of fine sandy beaches, areas of turquoise-blue water, characteristic little ports and walks through wild, unspoiled natural landscapes. This is the perfect opportunity to spend a wonderful holiday together with family or friends.

Your possible stops during this cruise

The Cyclades are an archipelago made up of more than 250 islands and islets, of which just 24 are inhabited. In the Ancient Greek era, life in the region revolved around the sacred island of Delos. Today, it is possible to alternate between the numerous islands, pretty ports and characteristic villages and the areas that still remain very wild and unspoiled. Spend a week admiring unbroken views extending all the way to the horizon and making the most of heavenly beaches while at the same time enjoying local culinary specialities. Greece is famous for its cuisine, and this region is simply bursting with local specialities: sheep's cheese, thyme honey, lemons, wine, citron liqueur… You are guaranteed to find something you'll like and enjoy. And to top it all off perfectly, the people of the Cyclades are very warm and welcoming.

As far as the programme is concerned, your skipper is at your service to put together a cruise tailor-made to suite your tastes. Giorgos is a native of the Cyclades, and sailing between these islands is just like a walk in the garden for him, which makes him an excellent source of advice.

You could, for example, decide to set course for the north. Should this be the case, Giorgos will recommend leaving the port at Paros and heading for Naxos. It's on this island, according to legend, that Theseus abandoned Ariadne. The island's old town is utterly charming, and its beaches definitely worth a detour.
The next day, he will sail you to the legendary Mykonos, the best known island in the archipelago, where you will have the chance to enjoy some of the numerous special events and activities on offer.
Next, it's on to Syros, the capital of the Cyclades, which will give you the opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture. And finally, there is also Serifos and plenty of other islands for you to see.

If you opt to sail south, the skipper will recommend visiting and exploring Serifos, a wild, unspoiled island well away from the main tourist circuits and which provides opportunities for hiking and bathing.
The skipper will then take you to Ios, which offers an astonishing blend of deserted beaches and lively, animated places to visit.
Then it will be time to set course for Sikinos, a wonderful and traditionally authentic island; or Kamari, which is guaranteed to provide a picture postcard setting for your holidays.

A typical day begins with a wake-up call and breakfast onboard the boat. Then at around 10:00 am, you will head off for your first activity of the day. A sheltered cove, a wonderful spot in which to drop anchor, a heavenly beach, a characteristic little port, a short hike… the choice is yours! You can either have lunch onboard the boat, which is equipped with a kitchen, or eat at a taverna. Giorgos will be able to recommend a few places to you. Expect to spend around three hours per day sailing. Your professional skipper will be delighted to share his passion for sailing with you. If you simply want to spend your time relaxing, you are under no obligation to take part in sailing manoeuvres.

How to get there ?

From France, you can fly directly to Athens then travel by ferry to Paros (the crossing takes around four hours). Our recommendation: spend the first night after you arrive in Athens then catch the ferry that departs early the next morning (usually around 7:00-8:00 am).
