What is your motto ?
Being on the water is the most beautiful thing!
Your sailing style ?
Sailing for me is a way to unwind, to liberate one's spirit polluted by the land, to put oneself in an almost unknown environment, and to be carried by the wind, all while remaining vigilant !!! The sea is stronger than we are ..._x000D_
Life on board that is simple, safe and friendly. I am a real chatterbox, but I love listening to everyone's stories which enrich me. I speak and you handle the manoeuvres. If there's a problem, we'll find a solution together.
How do you handle the life on board ?I explain, the crew participates in sailing manœuvres
How does shopping work?I can stock up on supplies before departure, or the crew can do it, it is up to them.
How does cooking work?I do not cook
How did you become skipper ?
I discovered sailboat cruising 2 years ago by participating in the Tour de Ré regatta in May 2012. I immediately took part in as many sailing courses as possible. From the Azores to La Rochelle, I then set out to become a sailing instructor and to combine my passion with a very rewarding career. I was a sailing instructor, enrolled in a state diploma programme in September 2014 and I prepared for the Captain 200 selections for the start of the school year in October 2015. My goal, in the future (which I hope is soon), is to go on great voyages in my boat ... and share this whole universe. Go on the road of autonomy by combining knowledge, friendliness, a good atmosphere, and discovery ... "
What people say about you?
Difficult to say ... I am told that I am pleasant and always smiling, for the rest I would have to have a small satisfaction survey carried out!
Your best cruise memory
My trip, my first trip, from the Azores to La Rochelle in June 2013: the dolphins, the whales, the turtle, our huge bonito that we got 5 meals from, and a crew that I'm still in contact with.
In your opinion, what makes for a successful cruise ?
A successful cruise, for me, is when people cannot stop smiling, people who want to come back sailing, who talk about us. These are beautiful encounters, laughs, a small dose of adrenaline ... In short, as a colleague of mine said: "unforgettable moments !!!!"
Your worst cruise memory ?
Up until now, there hasn't been any…
