Sail away with Fabien
Fabien has been sailing and teaching kitesurf these last years. His father, a dive instructor, made him discover the underwater very young. Sea lover, he never wanted to choose between all his activities and decided to mix them all in fantastic cruises in the West Indies. So why choose ? He will offer you to combine all these different though similar pleasures under the West Indies rythm.
What is your motto ?
The world could have been simpler, like the sky and the sea.
Your sailing style ?
Wether you are expert or beginner, I will help you better your sailing skills. If some of you do not want to go for some kitesurfing, no worries you are also welcome! I know the West Indies very well and I'll be happy to take you in amazing places.
How do you handle the life on board ?I explain, the crew participates if they want to
How does shopping work?I can stock up on supplies before departure, or the crew can do it, it is up to them.
How does cooking work?I do not cook
How did you become skipper ?
I always wanted to become a skipper. I grew up in the West Indies and I started sailing very young. During 8 years in went to France to work in logistics and planification but it wasn't made for me so I came back to my homeland. At this moment I learned kitesurfing intensively in order to create my club. Simultaneously I was taking sailing lessons to start my carrier as a skipper. I mixed both of my passions in my cruises.
Your best cruise memory
I think it was a kitesurf cruise in the Grenadines. The weather was perfect, we had some sun and wind. It was one of my best kitesurf session and we even got to see a leopard ray and a shark!
In your opinion, what makes for a successful cruise ?
A successful cruise is when everybod found what he was looking for. When the clients leave with a smile on their faces and want to get back on board as soon as possible. I think it is really important to have a good atmosphere!
