Your cruise
Set sail in the heart of the Mediterranean and experience total immersion in the world of sailing.
Set sail from Toulon for a short but intensive course, ideal for discovering or perfecting your sailing skills on the islands of Hyeres.
Between sheltered roads, unspoilt islands and wild coves, you'll learn to maneuver, navigate and understand the sea, all under the guidance of a professional skipper.
Your possible stops during this cruise
Here is the program for your 2 or 3-day sailing course from Toulon to the Hyeres islands
The itinerary is subject to weather conditions.
Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sailor, embark from the port of Toulon for a 2 or 3-day course during which you'll have the pleasure of sailing along France's most beautiful Mediterranean coastline.
Depending on the weather, you'll head for the islands of Hyères, Port-Cros or Porquerolles, or Cap Sicié.
Boarding takes place at 9 a.m. at Toulon's old dock, quai de la Sinse. The welcome on board over coffee will provide an opportunity to take stock of everyone's expectations and needs, so that we can meet them as effectively as possible during the course. After a safety briefing, a crew member will take the helm on departure.
The crew will take part in all sailing and motor maneuvers, as well as life on board.
Each crew member will take it in turns to occupy the various positions, so as to become versatile and eventually have a global vision of the boat's operation. One of the objectives is to work as a "crew", preparing for maneuvers, communicating and coordinating during them, and thus developing each person's autonomy.
Briefings and debriefings will be held to describe and explain the sequence and technique of a maneuver, such as dropping anchor or adjusting the sails to suit the point of sail.
Disembarkation takes place on the last day, at 4:30 pm.
For 3-day cruises: Advanced techniques
You'll have the option of sailing to the islands of Hyères, Cap Sicié or Sanary Bay, to learn more about reefing, fine-tuning sails and approaching the harbor under sail. Safety training with a "man overboard" exercise. Return to Toulon late afternoon.
