Program of your catamaran cruise from Fakarava-Tuamotu to Bora-Bora diving option
This is a typical program and can be modified according to the weather, your wishes and the length of the cruise
Optional, D-4: boarding in Papeete for a transfer to Fakara (option at no extra charge)
Rendezvous 4 days before the cruise's departure date for an offshore convoy to Fakara, the cruise's departure point. The first 2 days will be devoted to preparing the catamaran (provisioning, etc.). The following 2 days will be devoted to the 250 NM "Papeete → Fakara" delivery trip, i.e. around 40 hours of sailing.
day 1: Embarkation in Fakara
Meet in Fakarava to board the catamaran.
day 2: Fakarava and Tetamanu Village
Morning snorkeling in Fakarava's north channel. Visit the village and swim for non-divers. Afternoon sailing to the south pass (Tetamanu Village).
day 3: Tetamanu Village and Hirifa
Morning dive to the South pass. Non-divers swim in the pass with the current flowing in. In the evening, anchorage at Hirifa.
day 4: Hirifa and Les Sables Roses
Discover a magical sandbank at the southern tip of Rangiroa atoll, known as "Les Sables Roses".
day 5 : Toau
Early morning departure for Toau (Fishing). Arrival in the afternoon, overnight at anchor.
day 6: Toau Toau
in Toau, stroll through the village. In the evening, optional dinner at Gaston and Valentine's if open. The ideal spot for stingray watching.
day 7: Toau and Rangiroa
Morning in Toau, then off to Rangiroa in the afternoon. Overnight at sea.
day 8: Rangiroa
Morning arrival at Rangiroa (Tiputa pass). Program: visit of the village and swimming.
day 9: Rangiroa Rangiroa
2 scheduled scuba dives; for non-divers, snorkeling in the aquarium.
day 10: Rangiroa and the Feo Islands
Descent of the lagoon to discover the "Feo" (fossilized corals) and walk on land.
day 11: Tikehau
Morning departure for Tikehau. Arrival late in the day.
day 12: Tikehau
Visits to the island and two dives for divers; for non-divers, the program includes a walk.
day 13 : Heading for Huahine
Late morning departure for Huahine, the first leeward island!
day 14: Open-sea sailing
Around 30 hours of open sea sailing!
day 15: Huahine
Early morning arrival in Huahine, with a visit to the village of Fare.
day 16: Huahine
Sailing and relaxation in the lagoon. In the afternoon, sail to Avea Bay.
day 17: Raiatea
Departure for Raiatea and the village of Uturoa. Scuba diving at the Raiatea diving club. Snorkeling and walks for non-divers.
day 18: Tahaa Tahaa
Departure for Tahaa. on arrival, visit the coral garden.
day 19: Tahaa Tahaa
Optional morning guided tour of the island in 4x4 (vanilla road). Afternoon visit to the pearl farm in Marina Iti bay. Possibility of hiking in the nature reserve.
day 20 : Bora Bora
Morning departure for Bora Bora. Arrival at the Toopua anchorage. 2 dives in Bora-Bora. For non-divers, visit of the village.
day 21 : Bora-Bora
Swimming at the aquarium. Visit to Matira Point.
day 22 : Disembarkation in Bora-Bora
Disembarkation in Bora-Bora.
Day 23: Convoy to Papeete (optional at no extra charge)
Conveyance between Bora-Bora and Papeete. Allow around 24 hours of extra sailing for disembarkation on day 23 in Papeete.

You can fly to Papeete with Air Tahiti Nui from Paris (usually a 22-hour flight with a stopover in Los Angeles), then take a local plane to Fakarava or Bora-Bora.
