Your possible stops during this cruise
Here is a suggested itinerary for your Discovery Sailing Course on the Côte d'Azur aboard a Lagoon 380 catamaran
"The itinerary will depend on weather conditions, your wishes and those of your skipper.
D-1 - Friday - Boarding at Hyères (Arrival maximum 9am the next day)
Meet at the port du Gapeau in Hyères at 7:00 pm on Friday, the day before departure, where your training skipper will welcome you aboard the catamaran. You'll receive a briefing on the week's organization, before heading off to a restaurant for dinner. A chance to get to know the crew (meal on board). Overnight aboard the Lagoon 380.
DAY 1 - Saturday - Hyères → Ile de Porquerolles
First day of sailing, get your bearings on the catamaran, and set sail for the island of Porquerolles, also known as "The Pearl of the Golden Isles". A veritable paradise, where you'll find sandy coves and turquoise waters surrounded by wild vegetation. You'll anchor at Baie du Langoustier or a nearby bay. For a breathtaking view of the Mediterranean Sea, we recommend a hiking trail around the Fort du Grand Langoustier.
DAY 2 - Sunday - Ile de Porquerolles → Ile de Port-Cros
Sail east towards the wild island of Port-Cros. A protected and regulated area considered a national park. Here, you'll discover forested massifs bordered by crystal-clear waters, and if you're a diving enthusiast, the underwater trails are not to be missed.
DAY 3 - Monday - Port-Cros Island → Cap Taillat
Resume sailing, still heading east towards Cap Taillat, a protected site of indescribable beauty listed since 1993. A true natural frontier between La Croix-Valmer and Ramatuelle, where the sandy isthmus offers the only access to the Cape from land. On your side, you'll discover it from the sea, sheltered from the wind by the 60-metre-high peninsula.
DAY 4 - Tuesday - Cap Taillat → Baie d'Agay
Head east to Baie d'Agay, the natural gateway to the Esterel. aboard the catamaran, discover a breathtaking, low-angle view of the Esterel massif, which rose from the earth 250 million years ago. A characteristic massif of red rock and steep relief. You'll enjoy a sheltered anchorage much appreciated by sailors, which is why the bay is so named, as "Agay" means "favorable" in Greek.
DAY 5 - Wednesday - Agay Bay → La Croix Valmer → Cap Nègre
This time, we head west towards La Croix Valmer, anchoring at Pointe du Brouis. A little piece of land lost at the tip of the Saint-Tropez peninsula. You'll then set sail again for Cap Nègre, to discover its fine sandy beach.
DAY 6 - Thursday - Cap Nègre → Le Lavandou → Bormes les Mimosas
Sixth day of sailing, heading for Le Lavandou. Once there, you'll enjoy an anchorage off one of its beaches (Cavalière, Fossette...). You'll have the option of stopping off ashore for a stroll along the coastal path, where you'll easily discover magnificent panoramas of the Mediterranean Sea. You can then set sail again for Cap Bénat or Pointe du Diable, where you'll discover turquoise waters, greenery and a magnificent view of Fort de Brégançon. the area also boasts a number of coves and beaches, such as Anse de l'Estagnol, Plage du Grand Jardin and Anse de Léoube, ideal for anchoring.
DAY 7 - Friday - Bormes les Mimosas → Return to Hyères
Return to Hyères and disembark at 3:00 pm.
A reminder: throughout your sailing course, you'll be active on board the catamaran, with your skipper trainer providing personalized advice according to your initial level and any questions you may have.the levels are recognized by the FFV (French Sailing Federation) and cover 5 skill areas (sailing and motor maneuvers, piloting, safety, life on board and maintenance), with specific teaching content for each level. At the end of the course, if you wish, you can be issued with a sailing booklet validated and stamped by your skipper trainer. This will serve as your proof of training for future training courses or charters.
