The Lofoten Islands, a true northern paradise, are located beyond the Arctic Circle and enjoy a mild climate thanks to the gulf stream
The most beautiful vertiginous peaks fall into transparent waters that are home to numerous species of fish and cetaceans. It is not uncommon to come across dolphins, orcas and even sperm whales during the navigation!
On the program: navigation under the protection of the Norwegian fjords, visit of small fishermen's villages, hike in the middle of nature between sea and mountain, observation of the maritime fauna... with an almost permanent day.

Your possible stops during this cruise

Here is the presumed program of your cabin cruise in a traditional sailboat in the Lofoten Islands from Tromsø to Bodø

Departure: Meeting point between 6pm and 11pm at the port of Tromsø (Norway). The exact location of the sailboat will be communicated to you a few hours before your arrival. Possibility to leave your luggage from 10 am

Day 1: Arrival on board and presentation of the boat and its crew. Enjoy a first meal and a first night on board at the port of Tromsø

Day 2 to 6: Sail each day with one or more stops. Possible stops (depending on the weather conditions): Helløya, a charming little island before entering the Lofoten archipelago, Trollsfjorden, one of the best known and most impressive in Norway, Skrova, a small island in the Lofoten archipelago.ge, Skrova, a small island of the archipelago with nice paths that will allow you to have a great view of the Lofoten, Henningsvær, nicknamed the Venice of Lofoten for its "large canal" in the center of the village, Nusfjord, a fishing village classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Reine and Hamnøy fjord, with its turquoise lagoon waters, Å (pronounced ô), the southernmost village in Lofoten.

Day 7: Sailing to our final port in Bodø. Last night in port

Day 8: Disembarkation at 09:00 am at the port of Bodø (Norway). The exact location of the boat in port will only be known upon arrival. Possibility to leave your luggage on board until 5 pm.

Sailboat built in 1948 with a rich history, saved from abandonment in the 80's and now classified as a historical monument.
This traditional French sailing boat can accommodate up to 27 passengers during the day and 12 passengers during a cruise, with a crew composed of a captain and 3 to 4 sailors including a cook. At your disposal: - 3 quadruple cabins with bunk beds (12 passengers) - 1 bathroom and 2 toilets

How to get there ?

By plane: several flights on Saturday France-Tromsø with 1 or 2 stopovers. Count between 8 and 10 hours of travel. The airport of Tromsø is at approximately 20 minutes of the port by Taxi or Bus.
Same for the return trip from Bodø: Airport at 20 minutes from the port and several flights on Saturday to France with 1 or 2 stopovers

By train/bus: Count on about 2 to 3 days of travel that will take you through a good part of the Northern European countries. You will be rewarded by the crossing of the magnificent landscapes of the interior of Sweden and Norway.
