Your cruise
Sign up for one of our offshore courses and cross the English Channel to the south of England.
Discover the exotic Scilly archipelago, while learning or improving your sailing skills to become autonomous, with a great skipper, Daphné or Jérémy!
The aim of this offshore course is to acquire navigation skills and techniques:
- Memorize sailing maneuvers and acquire automatisms (tacking, tacking, gybing, reefing, person overboard, spinnaker, etc.)
- Understand trimming
- Master harbor and anchoring maneuvers under power and sail
- Improve your weather analysis skills
- Progress in "old-fashioned" navigation without electronics, using only a nautical chart, a bearing compass and a Cras ruler
- Familiarize yourself with "modern" navigation using electronic instruments
- Develop your sense of seamanship with a view to becoming autonomous aboard a sailboat
