Set sail from Brest Port

In the company of professional skipper Camille, take part in a 10-day offshore training course from Brittany to English Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly and discover charming rivers and small ports.
The aim of this course is to help you become more autonomous in coastal and offshore sailing, and to help you adapt to sea and wind conditions, so that you can enjoy sailing and learning.

Your possible stops during this cruise

Program for your Offshore Training Course from Brittany to Cornwall or the Isles of Scilly
note: The itinerary depends on weather conditions, your wishes and those of your skipper.
You join the boat in Brest on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. (possibility of sleeping on board the night before).
Together, we'll draw up the provisioning list and do the shopping.

For your information: Camille, the skipper, will do the provisioning in advance.
When you come aboard, you'll be warmly welcomed by Camille with a hot drink around the saloon: the perfect opportunity to introduce ourselves and to talk about a few principles of life on board, so that everyone finds their place and feels at ease.
Next, you'll familiarize yourself with the organization of the yacht and its equipment. Before setting off, a safety briefing will enable you to discover or reinforce your knowledge of communication and procedure, both inshore and offshore.

Time to set sail!
We leave the harbor on Sunday for our first stopover in Brittany, heading for the Rade de Brest, Camaret, Molène, Lanildut and more. The first two days of sailing aboard the yacht will be an ideal opportunity for you to get your bearings on the different points of sail, and to brush up on common maneuvers.
On the following days, we'll choose the right moment to cross the English Channel and head for Cornwall with its rivers and small ports, or the Scilly archipelago, conditions permitting. All of these proposals offer you the opportunity to discover superb landscapes.

by the end of this course, you'll be confident on all points of sail and in all maneuvers.
You'll discover or refine your knowledge of navigation in watches. Emphasis will be placed on on-board management, safety, preparation and navigation follow-up. We'll always take the time to discover the culture, fauna and flora of the areas we cover.
