Your possible stops during this cruise
Itinerary and objective of your 5 to 7 days sailing course in the Morbihan Islands from La Turballe
Itinerary
Take the helm of the sailboat and set course for the Mor Braz and beyond. From the Breton word for "big sea", this magnificent bay located in the south of Brittany, which extends from the Quiberon peninsula to Le Croisic, is an ideal playground for learning to sail.
You will discover the beautiful islands of southern Brittany, the sister islands of Houât and Hoëdic, and the more remote and wild Belle-Ile and Groix. And maybe even sail to the Glénan archipelago, which has nothing to envy to the West Indies, sailors' word ;) !
We can also let ourselves be carried by the currents of the Gulf of Morbihan during a stopover on the Ile aux Moines or Arz, or sail up the Bono river to the charming port of Saint Goustan.
If you feel like it and if the wind allows it, we will change atmosphere and sail south to the Vendée islands of Noirmoutier and Yeu. No more slates and kouign aman, just tiles and delicious patagos!
Sailing objective
The objective is to acquire reference points, learn techniques, memorize sailing maneuvers (tacking, gybing, reefing, overboard, spinnaker.), understand trimming, master harbor and anchoring maneuvers under motor and sail, improve weather analysis, progress in navigation "the old fashioned way" without electronics with only a nautical chart, a compass and a Cras rule.and a Cras ruler, become familiar with "modern" navigation using electronic instruments, make maneuvers more fluid, and above all develop your sense of seamanship with a view to becoming autonomous on board a sailboat.

For safe and efficient sailing: autopilot, spinnaker, sunshade, onboard electronics, offshore equipment, new standing rigging and current..
