Your possible stops during this cruise
Program for your 3 to 5-day sailing cruise from Brest to Ouessant and Finistere
Several itineraries and destinations are possible, depending on the length of your cruise and current weather conditions.
Here is a selection of islands and ports of call that you can explore during your 3 to 5-day sailing cruise, depending on the itinerary you choose:
First thing in the morning, once you've set foot on board, we'll head for the islands of Ouessant and Molène, or the Isle of Sein, three superb Breton islands.
island of Molène :
Your cruise begins with the discovery of Molène Island, a veritable jewel in the Iroise Sea. As you approach by sailboat, you'll be struck by the rugged beauty of its indented coastline, fine sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters that capture the changing reflections of the Breton sky. Molène is a place where nature reigns supreme, surrounded by small islets that add a touch of mystery to this idyllic setting.
Then head for Ouessant or Sein.
ouessant Island :
After exploring Molène, we'll head for Ouessant, the island of lighthouses and towering cliffs. Skirting its coastline, you'll discover a wild, unspoilt landscape, dominated by the majestic Créac'h lighthouse, one of the most powerful in Europe. aboard your sailboat, you'll be able to admire other lighthouses that are emblematic of the archipelago, keeping watch over this isolated island. You may also have the chance to observe the rich marine biodiversity, including colonies of seabirds.
sein Island:
Ile de Sein, off the coast of Pointe du Raz, is a small, wild Breton haven. Its picturesque village, white houses and narrow streets are an invitation to explore. Battered by the winds, its low-lying coasts offer impressive seascapes, dominated by the Goulenez lighthouse. Rich in biodiversity, the island is also steeped in history, notably for its role in the Second World War. Car-free, Sein is an invitation to unwind, where nature and tranquility reign supreme.
If you've opted for a 3-day cruise, it's time to head back to Brest while enjoying the beauty of the archipelago as you disembark in the late afternoon.
For 5-day cruises, several other destinations are available:
Cabotage along the north coast of Brittany :
Brittany's northern coastline boasts some of the most spectacular and varied scenery in France. Not to be missed: l'île Vierge, l'île de Batz, l'ile de Wrac'h.
Cabotage along Brittany's south coast:
Brittany's south coast is reputed to be one of the most beautiful in France. Let the wind take you, and after visiting the Ile de Sein, sail along the Breton coast to the Glenan archipelago.

Wonderful 5-day cruise with Youenn (May period). We were able to rediscover Camaret and Ouessant, as well as Molène and Bertheaume Bay. Perfectly equipped and clean, Youenn is not only an excellent skipper, but also a great cook for healthy, balanced meals at sea. You can set sail with Youenn with your eyes shut - he'll think of everything for you!
Thanks again for this wonderful cruise which we will remember for a very long time, our future baby doesn't know it yet but he will have had a great time aboard his Bavaria 36 :-)
