Your cruise
Embark in Sète for a nature cruise to Minorca.
Your possible stops during this cruise
Program of your 18m Sailboat Cruise from Sete to the Balearics: Minorca and Mallorca
This itinerary is subject to weather conditions and your wishes
day 1: Embarkation at Sete - Collioure
Setting sail at 9am, we now know that something is going to bind us for 2 weeks: the sea, the Mediterranean, "but it's beautiful, but it's blue, it's what makes us happy".
Our first port of call is Collioure, which we reach in the evening, after driving along its coastline of sun-drenched vine-covered hills facing the sea. Choose a small restaurant on the old port or dinner on board to spend this first evening.
day 2 : Collioure - Minorca
The next morning, the little stores and market catch your last few steps on dry land, before we leave the old continent behind.
As we move away from the coast and the terra disappears, your perception of time gradually changes, and suddenly you're there, part of it, in symbiosis with this fabulous world of the sea. This is a special night, somewhere between dream and reality: far from light pollution, you discover the light of the stars and the moon, and very often, dolphins, surrounded by luminescent plankton, surround us. At the end of this first night together, at sunrise, we discover land on the horizon.
Days 3 to 7: Discovering Menorca
By late morning, we've reached Menorca, a well-deserved stopover.
The land is different when you come from the sea.
First, discover the pretty port of Ciutadella de Menorca. Minorca, this small, incredible and exceptional island was recognized as a biosphere reserve by UNESCO on October 8, 1993.
The next day, a short sail and a swim on the beautiful beach of Cala Galdana, in the south of the island.
The following day, we sail along the coast following the GR223 path, more commonly known as the "Cami des Cavals", anchoring in a cove close to two of the island's most beautiful beaches: Cala Macarella and Cala Turqueta.
Day 8: Minorca - Majorca
It's time to leave for Majorca. A day sail that will take you to an island that's very different from the wild island of Menorca, but just as beautiful: Majorca.
Days 9 to 12: Discovering Majorca
Discover the turquoise waters of the beautiful beach of Agulla, the wild beach of Es Trenc or those of Cala Ratjada or Cap de Formentor.
We'll also discover the island of Cabrera. This island has been a protected land and sea park since 1991. Its bay is home to a particularly rich flora and fauna. You may be lucky enough to spot turtles, dolphins, octopus, numerous species of fish and birds. You'll have the chance to go on several hikes that will take you to the castle, the lighthouse or the Cova Blanca cave.
Day 13: Majorca - Sete
Unfortunately, on our penultimate day, we have to leave this little paradise. After another night at sea, we set sail for Sète at dawn.
By 4 p.m. we're there, intoxicated by the beauty of all this biodiversity, our hugs sincere and friendly.
At 6 p.m., after a final drink, we leave each other with the feeling of having lived an incredible experience.
