Your cruise

Set sail from Port de Svolvaer

Discover the Lofoten Islands aboard a traditional sailboat, for an unforgettable cruise through fjords and fishing villages. This experience will give you the chance to discover the archipelago by sea, on an all-inclusive cruise.

Your possible stops during this cruise

Enjoy a week of all-inclusive cabin cruising in Lofoten on a traditional sailboat.
The itinerary is flexible according to weather conditions.

Program :
Day 1, Boarding at Svolvaer:
You will embark at the Norwegian port of Svolvaer in the afternoon (time to be confirmed according to your flights). Once you've boarded the yacht, you'll be given a life and safety briefing before hoisting the sails! Set sail for the island of Litlmolla, where you'll be able to observe fish eagles. Meal on board and overnight at anchor in Litlmolla.

Day 2, visit Reine and hike:
Early in the morning, you'll head for Reine, where you can visit the town and its surroundings. A hike is also available for those who wish, taking you to the top of Reinebringen mountain pass for a panoramic view of Reine and the fjords. Meal on board the yacht, before another night on the water.

Day 3, visit to Lake Agvatnet:
On this day, you'll visit Lake Agvatnet, "nicknamed Lake Å", and you'll also have the chance to take a tour of the lake, an opportunity to plunge into the heart of Lofoten and its verdant landscapes. Return to the boat in the evening and spend the night on the water.

Day 4, visit to Vaeroy:
As soon as the sun rises, we'll set sail for the island of Vaeroy to visit the southernmost of the Lofoten islands. Steep mountains, white sandy beaches and authentic fishing villages make this a must-see. In the evening, return to the yacht.

Day 5, Visit to Nusfjord:
For the rest of the cruise, we'll set sail in the morning for Nusfjord, an old fishing village nestled at the bottom of a small fjord. You'll be able to see the various huts filled with boats, nets and other fishing equipment. You'll also be amazed by the immense mountains reflected in the calm waters of the fjord. Return to the sailboat in the evening.

Day 6, Cruise to Skrova Island:
On the sixth day of your cruise, you'll set sail for "Whale Island", more commonly known as Skrova, once an important whaling center. Remains of this era are still visible today. You'll have the chance to immerse yourself in this fascinating history by visiting the small local museum or chatting with the locals. In the evening, return to the yacht.

Day 7, Walk in Trollfjorden:
On this penultimate day, we leave the island of Skrova to sail to Trollfjord, a spectacular fjord in Raftsund. This narrow inlet, bordered by steep mountains, offers grandiose panoramas and unspoilt nature. On this walk, you can admire the peaks reflected in the calm waters and observe the local wildlife. In the evening, we set sail for Svolvaer, for a final night on the water.

Day 8: Disembarkation
We disembark in the morning (depending on your flight times), at the port of Svolvaer.

Life on board :
During your stay, we'll explore the east coast of Lofoten heading south, offering you the chance to enjoy free walks at each port of call, and in the evening, you'll be able to admire the magic of the northern lights (visible from September to March). You'll return to the boat at the end of the day, at a time agreed in advance with your skipper.
