Discover the Canadian West aboard an exceptional schooner. Sail in the footsteps of the Amerindians in the heart of a protected reserve, which has seen the development of a unique environment and culture as evidenced by their remarkable totem poles. This cruise will also take you through the Inside Passage, a maze of natural channels between the islands, linking Canada to Alaska and in the wake of the whales.the Kuro Shivo, a warm marine current from Japan, will make you enjoy a very mild microclimate.

DAY 1:
Arrival desired the day before, with overnight stay at the hotel. Meeting the next morning at 10:00 am at Port Hardy. You will discover your boat, meet your crew and get to know the other passengers.
DAY 2 :
After breakfast, head for Margaret Bay. First step of your cruise to reach the entrance of the Inside Passage. You will sail most of the day. If you are lucky, you will surely come across humpback whales, which are very numerous in this part of Canada. Don't forget your camera!
DAY 3 :
Navigation in the Canadian Inside Passage, you will discover extraordinary landscapes, as well as a varied fauna ranging from black or grizzly bears to the numerous orcas that come to feed in these fjords.
DAY 4 :
After a night on board, you will continue to sail along the Canadian coast. In the late afternoon, you will arrive near Bishop Bay, where you will discover relaxing hot spring baths. Ideal after a few days of sailing.
DAY 5 :
After breakfast, head to Rose Harbour, a whaling station, now inhabited by only 3 families. Located on the north side of Kunghit Island, it gives access to the protected national park of Gwaii Haanas. You can take the opportunity to visit the ruins of the village of Swang Gwaï. This village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
DAY 6:
Located in the north of Kunghit Island, Rose Harbour gives access to Gwaii Haanas National Park. You can visit the ruins of the village of Swang Gwaï. This village is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will discover in a second time the biggest concentration of spirit totems. Be careful, it is said that some spirits of Amerindians still accompany them
DAY 7 :
After breakfast, we head for Tanu Island in the north of the Queen Charlotte Islands. After a few hours of sailing, you will discover the Haida village, still very much marked by the population and the Indian spirits.
DAY 8 :
After a night at anchor, head for the hot springs of Gandll K'inn. Here you can choose between the three natural pools, ideal for relaxing after several days in the extreme cold.
DAY 9 :
Return to the Hecate Strait to reach the Canadian mainland. Anchor at Gilbert Island in the evening. DAY 10 :
Return to the Inside Passage, to reach Prince Rupert, the end of this cruise. Disembarkation in the afternoon, the perfect time to reminisce about the highlights of the cruise
A tip: consider a night in a hotel the night of disembarkation in the city (unless you have a domestic flight the same night).

Goélette - 16 meters
This 16m schooner, ideal for 8 people, is equipped with 8 single berths and a double cabin reserved for the skipper and his son. There is not necessarily a door to separate the bunks. It has a hot shower and a dinghy with engine. You will also find a very varied library.
The skipper sleeps in a double cabin, the others are available for passengers

- Take a domestic flight from Vancouvert (1 hour flight) or a ferry (8 hours)

- Take a domestic flight from Vancouver (2 hours flight) and then take the free shuttle from the Prince Rupert airport to downtown. From there, it's a 15-minute walk or cab ride.
*The boat will be docked at the main dock of the Cow Bay Marina in Prince Rupert.
