Your cruise

Set sail from Eden Island Marina

In the heart of the Indian Ocean, sail in the Seychelles archipelago. Come and discover the lush vegetation and the richness of the seabed. Your professional skipper will take you on board for a cruise to the rhythm of the elements. Play as an adventurer and like the pirates of yesteryear, set out to board the hidden treasures of each of the islands. On a comfortable catamaran where conviviality reigns, let yourself be rocked and enjoy the moment! In order to prepare your trip to the Seychelles, we recommend that you consult the backpacker's guide for example.

Your possible stops during this cruise

The program shown below is an example. Depending on the weather conditions and your wishes, the programme will be defined on the first day on board. Depending on the season, the loop can be the other way around

Day 1: Embarkation scheduled for 14H00 at the old port of Mahé. You will be received with a welcome cocktail. This will allow you to get to know each other and to settle on the boat. Your skipper, Allen, will tell you about life on board and some safety rules. Hoist the sails towards the islands of Sainte Anne, Cerf, Moyenne and Ile Longue. This frame is ideal for a last snorkeling outing. The area, which is little frequented, is home to a rich underwater fauna and flora. You will then head off to discover the marine national park of Île Saine Anne, Île au Cerf and Île Moyenne, Longue et Ronde. Night at anchor

Day 2: On the program for the day: discovery of the surrounding islands. You will be able to go on an excursion to Ile Cerf. We advise you to reach the top of the island. The view is breathtaking over the islands of the archipelago. During your ascent to the summit, you will be able to discover the fauna which abounds in splendid species such as the chameleon. After this day of discovery, you will spend the night at Anse Machabee, located on the northern tip of Mahé

Day 3: Hoist the sails towards La Digue Island, the most photographed island in the world. This heavenly island invites you to laze and swim. You will anchor at the port of La Passe, in order to prepare the program of your visit: Union Estate with its park of giant turtles, the castle St Cloud, the Widow's reserve, and many other possible visits. You'll spend the night at anchor near Anse Coco

Day 4: Heading to Big Sister Island in the morning. Known for its exceptional landscapes, you will admire the white sandy beaches that contrast with the dark green vegetation. Don't hesitate to take a walk, the island is only 200 meters long! You will end your walk with a swim in turquoise water. If you wish, you can borrow the snorkeling equipment and set off to discover the island's sumptuous seabed. The reef is home to many fish and turtles. Head for Coco Island to dive, then head for Anse La Farine where you will spend the night at anchor

Day 5 : Breakfast in front of Ile Ronde then hoist the sails towards Praslin. You'll have free time for the whole day and evening. Take the opportunity to discover the magnificent landscapes of Praslin. Night at anchor

Day 6: Set course for Islet Saint-Pierre. Known to be an excellent diving spot, you will be surprised to swim in the company of turtles and harmless sharks. Discover the underwater caves in their company. Direction Baie Laraie located in front of Curieuse Island. You can hike through the jungle. Night at anchor.

Day 7: Hoist the sails to Cousin Island. Remember to prepare your cameras, the landscapes are sumptuous. Lazing around, snorkeling and swimming are on the program for the day. You will also be able to take a guided tour of the island, however the reserve can only be visited on Mondays and Fridays between 9.20 and 12.00 am. Head for Mahé where you'll spend your evening. You can spend the night in town and enjoy this last evening of your cruise

Day 8: Last breakfast on board, all together, exchange of farewells after an exceptional cruise with Allen.

The cruise

Excellent week in the Seychelles. Very fortunate to have only two on board... Silvio is an excellent skipper and handyman (a few incidents on the catamaran...had to be repaired!) Debra cooked us some nice meals and especially the King Fish caught on the first day! In short, a good first experience with Skippair.

The cruise

Boat very good, in very good condition. The skipper is rather reserved, not very communicative at the beginning. The programme planned by the skipper/agency was very good. On the other hand, we could enjoy the cruise only 3 days because the rest of the time, the weather was very bad. Some of our activities have been cancelled. We spent five nights in the ports, which was not the best. Again, unfortunately for us, due to bad weather... We ate very well, Oscar made us exceptional dishes, a real treat. Too bad about the drinks, there was no possibility to buy them on the boat, we weren't warned... I recommend, and I will certainly come back, but for another time.

The skipper

The starting point is not clear. We've been struggling to find him. And we weren't the only ones looking. Please describe the location of the boat more clearly, and please inform the guests before entering the boat: it is not possible to buy drinks from the skipper. We have to get them in the suitcases...

The skipper

The skipper is a Pro. It provides in all circumstances. Full of self-confidence, but a little shy, but knows the islands very well, and has answers to all the questions. For passengers who so desire, it would be nice if they could participate in the manoeuvres.

Best memories

Miraculous fishing... a family of large squids had the bad idea to go under the boat at anchor... Silvio didn't miss the opportunity to fish them in a few minutes, and Wendy cooked them for us the next day. Too good!

The cruise

Very nice cruise thanks to Eric our skipper, downside on the hostess who behaved well the first 3 days then without understanding why changed her attitude... In short, stayed 2 nights, so breakfast to see again... not want to do the dishes... Our poor skipper tried to hide everything but we noticed well. Unfortunately we thought she felt protected...

Awesome, very nice and very good

The cruise

The stops, the scenery was beautiful, a barbecue organized by Allen ashore was very nice.

The skipper

We didn't have a skipper, but two, one after the other, they were doing their job, the cook was too young and certainly not listening to the people on board. He did what he wanted and often not much (rice salad for two lunches, apple for dessert or no dessert, coffee for breakfast, filter coffee too tiring...

Best memories

We had the chance to visit all the ports of Mahé before finding the right place to board following a complete lack of precision (Port victoria only) on the voucher, thanks to Skippair. the only help we had was our host who contacted the skipper through an intermediary. We had a telephone number in Paris to contact in case of emergency: a Saturday at 12 noon "there's no one answering" what a mess:(

The cruise

Very beautiful destination with beautiful stops on the Seychelles islands. The organisation on board was quite good. Nice food with nice preparation. The old ones from the boat bring some inconvenience. Fridge failure and engine failure. Everything else was perfect

The skipper

Georges our skipper was perfect. He knows his subject and knows how to do everything is Mike Giver. It is a good way to participate in manoeuvres. He knows how to improvise according to the weather and the sea state. We have caught some beautiful bonito that Cyril our Cuisto has prepared divinely.

Best memories

A little anecdote. Our skipper forgot our Cuisto which had got off the boat without warning. We got it back quickly. Georges always had a smile on his face and did everything to make our trip as pleasant as possible. He is a master of landing in the annex on the beaches with waves. Lazio Bay will remain the most beautiful memory with the miraculous fishing 3 bonitoes at the same time. What a treat
