Your cruise

Set sail from White harbour, Morbihan

In Port Blanc, not far from Vannes, get on board with Aubin for a day at sea. Alone, with friends, or with family, spend an enjoyable day sailing on a large 18m catamaran. The boat is comfortable, with a friendly atmosphere, and very pleasant to sail. Let yourself be guided towards the idyllic location of the Gulf of Morbihan and discover the island of Houat.

Your possible stops during this cruise

Here is your itinerary for this day cruise on a catamaran towards the island of Houat:

Upon arrival your skipper will give you a short briefing before setting sail for a 2 to 2.5 hour voyage across the Gulf of Morbihan. Did you know that Morbihan means 'small sea' in Breton? There are in fact 42 green islands on an azure sea...

During this short, sheltered crossing, you'll be able to see the Île aux Moines to the port side before crossing Île de Berder, Île de la Jument and Île Longue, delightful little islets that will amaze you!

You'll be able to explore Houat during a stopover of three hours to walk around or make the most of the beach. The island, whose name means 'duck', is 3.3km long and 1.5km wide. That seems small until you know that a walk around the island requires a minimum of 4 hours with no breaks.
You'll also have to choose between the north of the island, with green vegetation, the south which is drier, or the eastern tip where there is a beautiful, 2km long beach...Here are some photos of Houat to get you thinking...

The return towards Port Blanc will be made mid-afternoon to disembark at 6pm.

The cruise

A really nice cruise aboard the catamaran, with Mathilde and Maelia, who were efficient, friendly, smiling and cheerful captains and deckhands! The island of Houat is always a wonderful place, and so peaceful... It's a shame we couldn't stay there a little longer... In any case, the cruise was a pure moment of family happiness. There were 13 of us, and each of us really enjoyed the day!

Excellent day spent on the catamaran with discovery of the magnificent island of Houat, a pearl!

The skipper

The skippers were very friendly, delighted to share their passion with us. Special mention to the accras prepared on site which were delicious and to the skipper who did not hesitate to climb on the mast to take a group photo!

The cruise

Very nice cruise in small group - We haven't been around the Gulf Islands, just the channel that leads to the open sea - The time of the trip depends largely on the wind - the guests are invited to give a hand to hoist the sail (owl) - We can move on the boat according to our desires, including lying on the net and the cushions installed at the front - a tea and coffee service was offered after the departure, then an aperitif before lunch. On the way home in the evening a ti-punch / acras of cod was served. The passengers were able to hold the helm. I highly recommend it.

The skipper

Skipper David and "the" sailor Natalya were adorable... even with the late passengers. They have adapted to the weather conditions and the desires of the passengers, so it is important to remember to identify the boat with a sign, and for the skipper to have the list of passengers with the balance of the payments for those who have not paid on the internet...

The cruise

Over the course of a day, it is difficult to talk about the organization on board. But what a beautiful day it was, even though I had been sailing iron boats for more than twenty years and I was still amazed. Stroll through the golf of Morbihan then direction the island of Houat. we loved the stopover on the island of Houat. A little short but good it's the game for one day. To do, we want to go back

The skipper

Perfect welcome. Very nice to satisfy our curiosity

The cruise

Great cruise to Houat Island, thanks to the skipper and the hostess who made us have a great time. And besides, we had the dolphins on the program. We particularly appreciated the services on board (a small aperitif on the way to and from the airport) and the presence of Tiphaine, who was able to disappear while being present. A must!!!!!

The skipper

Very good and very nice!

The cruise

Great day! Great day! We were able to participate in the manoeuvres (hoisting the sails, steering the boat). The Morbihan golf course is superb from the sea. And icing on the cake, the dolphins came to visit us.

The skipper

Very good welcome from Tiphaine and Yann.
