Your cruise
You're a sailor, but you're not always comfortable tackling complex sailing areas like the Ile de Sein and Pointe du Raz. We're offering you the chance to crew with René, a professional skipper, for a 2-day, 2-night, half-board coached sailing cruise in the Iroise.
Your possible stops during this cruise
You embark the day before departure at 5:30 p.m. You'll be welcomed on board by Agnès and skipper René.
After settling in, you'll help prepare the boat, and René will give you some pointers on the powerful currents that govern this area. He's sailed the Raz de Sein hundreds of times, so he'll be passionate about sharing his experience with you, and coaching you on how to sail the Raz de Sein, his playground.
After taking up this first challenge together, and enjoying the breathtaking scenery at the Pointe du Raz, at the foot of the Phare de la Vieille lighthouse, we arrive at the Ile de Sein, where we'll stop off at anchor for the night. An opportunity to stretch our legs and explore the island, visit the Sein lighthouse, and meet some of the island's inhabitants on the quayside in a friendly atmosphere.
Back on board, a Breton aperitif awaits you as you prepare the next day's nav.
For dinner on the island, you can choose between a crêperie or restaurants serving oysters, the catch of the day or a stew of Brittany blue lobster, a local specialty.
After enjoying the authenticity and beauty of this island in the Mer d'Ioise, we set off again the next morning for an odyssey around the island to the south.e around the island to the mythical Armen lighthouse, then sail to Audierne, where we dock between 4 and 6 pm, depending on the tide.
The skipper
René created his sailing company with his wife, Agnes, in order to bring you on a journey to discover landscapes only accessible by the sea. He likes to share his passion for sailing and enjoys explaining the basics to his crew.
