Corfu sailing holiday

Exceptional experience. The crew, the skipper, the landscapes were incredible: Antipaxos, the cliffs of Paxos (which we could see very closely thanks to Silvio's skill), anchorages in magnificent bays, very nice villages Very well organized, Silvio transmitted to us with pedagogy the safety instructions on board. The itinerary is very clearly explained and adapted according to the weather/wind conditions, avoiding also high crowds. The days were well balanced between sailing and swimming. The boat is comfortable, well equipped. So a very nice week on board the Dreamaker, which bears its name very well. I recommend and will come back without hesitation!

Silvio is very professional, well organized and skilful. He explained us perfectly (and well illustrated) all the safety instructions, the itinerary (and the alternatives in case of bad weather). I always had a feeling of safety on board. He knows these islands perfectly, you can feel it quickly. I thank Silvio for having made me participate in several maneuvers (and for having explained them to me with pedagogy) Beyond the qualities of navigators, we had a lot of nice moments where we laughed a lot with Silvio. In addition to being a good captain, Silvio is also a talented composer who offered us a superb musical evening on the penultimate evening. Bravo and thank you Maestro!

The sailing close to the cliffs on the west side of Paxos was incredible, but the musical evening/concert on the penultimate night, alone in a bay near Petriti, with the full moon in the background was timeless

Destination with very nice anchorages, low wind area at the beginning of August. Good knowledge of the terrain by Silvio (sheltered anchorages, excellent taverns, supply points...). Comfortable and well equipped boat.

The boat is very comfortable, well maintained and very clean. A paddle and a canoe are, when you wish, at your disposal. It is a holiday that we will renew with great pleasure.

Extraordinary experience and great cruise, in every way! Besides Corfu, the itinerary combined the visit of small villages, natural areas (wild islands), and creeks, each one more beautiful than the other, with a very appreciable effort to go to tourist places at different times and/or days than most tourists, to avoid having too many people. The boat is really comfortable, nothing is missing, and the interior space is particularly optimized for the passengers on board.

Silvio is a great skipper, very professional, who willingly shares his passion for sailing with the most curious. Very friendly, accommodating, with a lot of humour, he immediately puts you at ease without being familiar, and knows how to find the right distance with customers. He knows the sea and the Ionian coasts like the back of his hand and can give you lots of tips on nice walks, taverns to discover or monuments to visit. In my case it was the first time I was coming to Greece, and I was alone on the boat because the other passengers missed their plane at the last minute, and Silvio's advice really helped me to discover the country at the right pace and never feel lost.

It's hard to choose a single "best memory" because each day brought its share of beautiful experiences, but I really enjoyed snorkeling in the wild berries we stopped in.

Splendid journey through which we discovered Paxos and Anti Paxos in particular! Beautiful waters, sometimes a little crowded, but that's normal. At the same time, I think it must be much worse elsewhere. These are small ports with totally typical restaurants. Few cultural visits, but there is so much to do to swim, watch the fish, and stroll in the small harbours. Our favorite: Gaïos

A true professional with a boat in perfect condition. Silvio is present while being discreet. It also allows everyone to participate if they wish and has a perfect knowledge of Greek culture or even more.

The itinerary is smooth and pleasant, the landscapes with turquoise water are on the meeting point every day BUT, the week has been spoiled by the skipper, who is just execrable, the atmosphere was at odds. Sylvio doesn't love anyone but himself.

The skiper is hateful, he doesn't care about the participants. During our week, members were insulted by this money in public, it goes a long way.

During the week, a notice was posted on skippair, dealing with OUR week, that Sylvio and the cruise was fantastic etc... No one in our group has submitted this opinion, would Skippair or the skipper be driving false opinions??????

We spent a dream week with skipper Silvio. He made us discover magnificent coves, beaches, islands with crystal clear waters. The cabins were very comfortable and spacious. Good organisation on board and sharing of the day's navigation plan with presentation on a TV screen. Fast Wifi, diving equipment available, possibility to do stand up paddle. We enjoyed the sailing moments although the time available and the conditions forced us to sail with a motor.

Silvio is a very friendly skipper who listens to his customers and we shared some great moments together! He brings people to life with his humour, thank you for all Silvio and see you next time!

A relaxing and restful week, Emerald and turquoise colors of the sea that resurfaced, especially as the sand was white and the impressive cliffs that we walked along, a very good atmosphere on board thanks to a family Très in respect of the other, nothing complicated, everything was simple: a change of pace and another way of life, a week in the year!it's very comfortable, well maintained, 4 star service: towels provided!

Silvio is a pro skipper, which means that he reassures... Unfortunately we didn't have any wind, we didn't have much sailing, however if we had wind to make the boat sail well I would have felt confident even though it is the only one who knows sailing, it is discreet and meets our expectations as far as possible... Otherwise it cooks pasta in a delicious way, to taste absolutely !

We didn't see any dolphins while sailing, but when we were anchored in a small port in Paxos, we saw one: Jules 16 years old nicknamed the little dolphin, we woke him up before lifting the anchor so that he could get my sunglasses at my sight, which fell to a depth of 7 m! He did it! Congratulations!

There were seven of us on board, two couples and our three children for two weeks. We had a very nice cruise. The weather was beautiful, the food extraordinary, the islands very beautiful. Silvio's boat is very well organized for a super pleasant, comfortable and safe trip. The boat is very well maintained. My only regret was the few large fish seen during our snorkeling dives. Our couple of friends were disturbed by mosquitoes at night.

Silvio guided us safely throughout the trip. He told us the anecdotes (historical/legendary) of the different islands. He was super available to shuttle us out. Thanks to him, we were able to see places that were not very touristy and extremely pretty. His restaurant recommendations were excellent. Even if it is his boat, he knew how to be discreet during the trip

We had two evenings of music where he played the piano and we try to sing with him... Memorable!

We enjoyed - Silvio's sailboat, great luxury, great comfort, great model... and all the equipment at our disposal... - the varied stops and sometimes spectacular sites that we discovered throughout the cruise, swimming in the turquoise waters of the coves and the taverns of the small ports... the captain's evening: pasta and live music, a great moment!... We regretted - the little wind on Corfu when we were there... As a result, 35 hours of engine time and only 5 or 6 hours of sailing, for a cruise on a sailboat, it's a little disappointing!.. We would have liked to see more but it was difficult in eight days!

Silvio is the owner of the sailboat and "pampers" his boat for our comfort and pleasure. He knows the tourist sites and shares with us his love for Corfu. He takes care of the safety and well-being of everyone and reveals to us at the end of the cruise his talents as a "chef" and a musician-singer..... a guaranteed atmosphere!

Excellent week despite a not very favourable weather at the start, we were still able to do what was planned, the boat is very comfortable and well equipped. The stopovers allow us to shop every day, visit pretty places, eat in good taverns and with Silvio's advice we are rarely disappointed.

Corfu and the Ionian Islands: A very beautiful destination, beautiful beaches, turquoise water, lush vegetation, culture and culinary traditions. The stops chosen by Silvio were superb. With average times of about 3 hours of sailing every day, we were able to enjoy the sites, swim in many coves and no one has been vaccinated against sailing, this region is calm in terms of wind, when there is no Mistral, the thermal winds rise in the early afternoon until 3 Beaufort and calm down in the late evening, the boat: The sailboat is large, maintained and the cabins are comfortable. The boat is well equipped for both sailing and fun. Our sailing week was very windy. The fuel engine cost us around 50 euros per person in addition. (for a distance of about 130 MN)

Silvio's strengths are undoubtedly its discretion, its knowledge of the area, the prior preparation of its anchorages and its very safe navigation. Indeed, as I myself have a deep-sea licence, I have seen that Silvio is totally autonomous and takes great care to navigate safely. It does not try to impress you, which could result in you being vaccinated against sailing. It's ideal for a first time, and although Silvio has strong ideas, he knows how to take care of his guests and his boat. It establishes basic rules that will ensure that you have a chance to have an unforgettable week. He appreciates that his clients have a respectful attitude towards other guests and his boat. We have anchored every evening, Silvio takes you with the annex to the village and comes to pick you up at the end of the evening. His anchorages are very well prepared, he even put a dummy boat to allow him to occupy the place he takes in the evening. Silvio speaks several languages, Italian, French and English, he is obviously not very comfortable with German! When he tells his anecdotes, Silvio is very good at highlighting his words

Perfect! Perfect! Very comfortable sailing. Private bathroom (one per cabin), mattresses are available on deck for sunbathing, a canoe, masks and snorkels... A selection of beautiful anchorages for swimming or for eating or sleeping. Good choice for stopovers.

The landscapes were exceptional, mostly wild. At this time of year, the wind is rather mild and the sea calm. There are an average of 2 stopovers per day. The understanding on board was very good, friendly! The boat is comfortable, mattresses on deck to relax and a fully equipped kitchen

Silvio is a dream maker as the name of his boat indicates! He knows how to get in tune with the whole crew when it comes to navigation. Pianist for a few evenings, joker and cook, this man is multitask. It allows the crew to discover the navigation, the wildest coves of the route and the good addresses of the different villages. I highly recommend it!

The best memories remain in Antipaxos and Paxos. Stopovers in creeks where there are many caves. Fish in abundance and water temperature more than good. Even the most cautious will admit it! The wild anchorages for the night accompanied by the piano for the twilight are worth all the gold in the world!

This cruise was extraordinary! we saw corfu paxos antipaxos leucade and the sides of the epirus. it was magnificent, the stops very well chosen by sylvio who knows these islands very well. we shared the boat with italians with whom we communicated in french or english, the organization of life on board was done in a good agreement (meals, swimming, stops, navigation), it was perfect.

Sylvio knows how to create a relaxed atmosphere on the boat with a lot of kindness, he takes into account everyone, translating into different languages his explanations on the coasts, or on the navigation, or the rules on the boat... He makes each team member participate in the navigation according to his level or his desires... Thanks also for this musical evening, he is pianist and singer... very nice.

All the days were nice, but I particularly enjoyed the day in the antipaxo creeks. Sylvio knows the coast very well and took us to the closest cliffs, it was great... Special mention also to the windiest day which allowed a superb sailing...

An excellent week spent on board the well maintained and comfortable boat: the unusual entrance to the port of Gaïos, the impressive cliffs of the west coast of Paxos "within reach of the mast", anchorage in Lakka Bay, the outing of the fishing boats at dusk in Petriti and the sailing with all sails outside. Super comfortable boat, idyllic stopovers with late afternoon anchorages or small ports, but always close to pretty walks and a tavern for the evening meal. Lunch on board, in picnic mode, each at his own pace, decided in agreement with the other passengers. We were really able to organize ourselves as we wanted, it was perfect!

Silvio's warm welcome, we immediately felt at home! At each stopover, he gave us his precious advice, whether for a stroll or for the choice of a restaurant. He knows the region by heart and speaks about it with passion, in French, English or Italian! Amateur of singing evenings and karaoke, you are in the right place!
