Your possible stops during this cruise
Below, you'll find an example of what your itinerary might look like for your Corsica family trip on a sailboat departing from Saint-Florent. It is subject to change, weather permitting:
DAY 1: Boarding and heading for the Agriates Desert
Meet at the port of Saint-Florent around 1:00 pm. After a short briefing and presentation of your yacht, you'll set course for the Agriates Desert for your first swim on one of the many beaches of your choice.
DAY 2: Heading for Calvi
After a hearty breakfast, the color of the water is sure to beckon you for a dip in the turquoise waters. You'll then leave this idyllic setting for the bay of Calvi. Weather permitting, you can take time out to visit this fortified town created by the Genoese.
DAY 3: Sailing to Scandola nature reserve
After a traditional morning swim, you'll head for the Scandola Reserve, where the landscape changes dramatically along the way. The Scandola Reserve will be sailed at a slower pace, so that you can take full advantage of every rock, every light, and let yourself be enchanted by the scenery. At the end of the day, you'll arrive at the village of Girolata, accessible only on foot or by boat.
DAY 4: Cabotage in the Gulf of Porto and discovery of the Calanques de Piana
A magnificent gulf awaits you, the Gulf of Porto... A guaranteed spectacle! Red rocks, fauna, flora... it's all there. You'll also discover the Calanques de Piana, where you'll stop to admire the sunset as the sea sets the red rocks ablaze.
DAY 5: Set sail for Calvi
You'll leave the Calanques de Piana for Calvi, where a host of surprises await you: the Grotte des Veaux Marins and the remarkable site of La Revelata... Would you prefer to sleep overlooking Calvi, the Revelata, or the round pebbles to the north of the bay? The choice is yours!
DAY 6: Stopover on the Iles Rousses
Off to the Iles Rousses and the still-secret beaches of the Agriates desert, with its white sand and maybe even Saleccia if you feel like it, one of Corsica's 3 most beautiful beaches (1.8 kilometers of white sand)!
DAY 7: Sail to Cap Corse and disembark at Saint Florent
Looking for more? Wake up early to get a glimpse of Cap Corse! You'll arrive at the port of Saint Florent around 1:00 p.m. to disembark.
