Your cruise

Set sail from Kernevel Port, Lorient

Departing from Lorient, Quiberon or Port-la-Forêt, set sail with our professional skipper, Jean, on board his sailboat (Sun Fast 52, 15m+ in length for extra space and comfort) for a sailing weekend around Belle-Ile or the Glénan Islands!
Explore the world of seabirds and the fascinating seascape. South Brittany lives with the tides and changes with the mood of the wind. Enjoy our all inclusive cruise, which covers the cost of fuel, bedding, bath linen and full board (i.e. there's no need to shop and waste precious cruise time).
The boat is equipped with a spinnaker sail offering the thrill of speed on the ocean waves and a tender for slipping away for quick dips in the bay.

Your possible stops during this cruise

From Lorient, you are not far from the centre of the Breton islands.

Jean will take you on the route of your choice Groix and the Glénan Islands (to find out more about the island visit), or to Hoëdic (to find out more about the island, visit), Houat and Belle-Ile (to find out more about the island)!

You'll have the chance to spend several days with a professional skipper and discover the wonders of safe sailing. Depending on what you feel like learning, you can try steering, sail adjustment or learn manoeuvring in a delightful setting.

As always with sailing, your actual route will depend on weather conditions and can be altered by your skipper during the cruise. If this isn't the case, you can decide together on your new itinerary to satisfy the desires of all. Before you set sail, the skipper will have stocked up on food and drink for the weekend to provide full-board so that you can put your feet up and make the most of it!

Jean was attentive to our wishes, good atmosphere on the boat

The skipper

Jean is a great skipper who knows navigation well and who knew how to transmit his passion to us. As far as food logistics are concerned, I will just note that the foodstuffs were just in quantity for adults.

Best memories

We spent a great weekend, small stopover in Houât, peaceful life with a sumptuous landscape. The return to Lorient with troughs of 1m, 1.50, what a great adventure. Very good atmosphere on board, smiles and relaxation were the order of the day.

The cruise

Family cruise with our 2 children of 4 and 7 years old, exceptional weather, enough wind, beautiful landscapes, co-cruiserists at the top, an experienced and reassuring skipper, good fish (delicious old carpaccio!), nothing to say at the top!

The skipper

Jean is an experienced skipper who has put us at ease and reassured our young children from the very first moments, and has spent a great deal of time telling us about his different sailing experiences around the world. Thank you to Jean for a great cruise!

The cruise

A very pleasant moment spent in the company of Jean.

The skipper

Thank you jean for all your little dishes, these good moments of laughter and this patient to teach us the basics of sailing. It was a good time for us to relax and get away from it all. The wind was not blowing, and yet it was an excellent stay on board.

The cruise

A competent and reliable skipper, an educator, who quietly prepares very nice and invigorating meals (sailing is a great way to dig), good weather and a beautiful itinerary in the Morbihan... in short, an invigorating break at the end of October! A big thank you to Jean: -) for all the crew of Titi's happy friends!

The skipper

Everything has been said: we recommend this skipper, just for the record, Jean is a heavy smoker. On the bridge, only.

Best memories

Emotional memory of the arrival at anchor of the large beach of the island of Houat, exceptional sunset and magnificent walk the next day: a place almost deserted at that time. Blue sky, light air, impression of the end of the world....

The cruise

A superb cruise in the islands and the Gulf of Morbihan; changing weather conditions have made us appreciate the quality and performance of our sailboat! The entire crew participates in the manoeuvres in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. A little crush for our last afternoon where the wind and sun ensured us a magnificent edge in the meadow......! These 3 days will remain a wonderful memory

The skipper

A big thank you to Jean, our skipper, for his kindness and professionalism; he very quickly put us at ease by introducing us to the various manoeuvres for the good conduct of his super sailboat; with Jean, everyone knows right away that they felt at ease on the boat.

Best memories

Thank you to our 3 friends from Arradon who graciously helped us out with 2 good bottles of Fitou and a lemon to decorate our Sin Bar in the afternoon by Thierry !

The cruise

Super 3-day cruise with Jean on his magnificent sailing boat of almost 16 meters. Very pleasant and reassuring, Jean made us participate in the manoeuvres and left us the choice of destination each time. He takes care of the food purchase in advance, which is very convenient. I would like to point out that we ate very well and that the organization was perfect. I strongly recommend going to sea with Jean!

The skipper

Pleasant, always in a good mood and master of his boat. This is exactly the profile of skipper you are looking for on a leisure cruise

Best memories

During a stopover in Arradon, 3 grandmothers met on the terrace of a café and wanted us to visit their house with a breathtaking view of the Gulf! We left with 2 bottles of wine that we were not allowed to refuse or risk offending them! Unlikely meeting.... And memorable!

The cruise

Cruise at the end of October with friends, direction Belle île. Everything was perfect! The weather, the wind (a little absent on the first day but too bad, there's still time to do it), the skipper, the meals, the Saturday evening stopover in Belle Ile, and of course the sailboat: -) To summarize, whether with friends or family, I recommend this cruise

The skipper

Jean is discreet, passionate, pedagogical and patient, attentive to the needs of his crew (if seasickness takes you, for example: -)) and does not lack humour. And then he prepares good food for you on board. In short, the must

The cruise

Leaving Lorient on Saturday morning, heading for Groix Island then Belle-île, back on Sunday, we were three friends, almost beginners, and sailing with Jean and his super Sun Fast 52 kept all his promises. The wind was blowing and the sea seemed nicely formed, our objective was to sail, the tourism would have been for later and Jean understood it well, he explained it to us and we participated, it was great, we spent the evening in Belle-île, and we could see that after a good day's sailing Jean's cooking skills were very appreciated. The return from Belle-île to Lorient (with an anchorage in Groix for lunch) was a delight and Jean knew how to put us in confidence so that we could for a moment take ourselves for sailors... In a word, it was great!

The skipper

What about Jean... he welcomed us with a kindness and simplicity that immediately made us feel at home aboard his beautiful tall ship... He is pro, we feel confident, and he likes to get the most out of his boat. We couldn't have dreamt of a better teacher, but he loves his Brittany and it's contagious, but all this is very serious, so we must point out that we had a good laugh and that, looking back, I have a smile on my face... I can't wait for 2018 for us to consider sailing with you again... A big thanks to you Jean.

The cruise

Great trip around Belle-ïle, Groix and up the Glénans path. Very beautiful discovery, magnificent landscape, a real visual pleasure. Life on board is the way you want it on a beautiful boat.

The skipper

Jean was at the top from A to Z and yet we had special "requirements". Despite a storm warning on Saturday that blocked us in port, Jean was able to teach us different theoretical elements for several hours. On Sunday, we set off for 11 hours of extraordinary sailing. The same goes for Monday when Jean proposed different scenarios. In short, sailing, sailing and more sailing. That was what we came to look for, alongside someone who was available, attentive and very open. Neophyte or experienced, he is your desired skipper, and his boat runs like no other. Thank you very much for these 3 very beautiful days!

The cruise

Good weather and wind at the rendezvous for this weekend from Lorient. After consultation we decided to have lunch at the anchorage in Groix, then tour of Belle Île to finish the evening at the anchorage in Houat! Congratulations to our teammate Olivier for the mooring on the buoy with a good swell and wind 😀. Sunday morning little tour on the island very pretty, swimming and cooking according to the team members. Then we had to go back, eat en route because there was little wind and return to Lorient with the wind again, the islands are magnificent, we were amazed... Everyone participated according to their wishes in the manoeuvres and small household tasks, it was very pleasant.

The skipper

Jean plays an important role in creating a pleasant climate between team members who do not know each other. He is a true guide who loves the region and describes it very well, he is very attentive to everyone's well-being, especially to prevent possible seasickness, he involves those who wish to participate in the manoeuvres by explaining clearly, so that even novices like us can get involved, organic meals are balanced, simple and good! The ideal for our short stay.

The cruise

Super cruise, two wonderful days with lots of sun, a very beautiful adventure and we were able to swim near Houat. I highly recommend this trip, however you should bring warm clothes, because even with a lot of sun on the boat it is quite cold, and also bring medicines against seasickness

The skipper

Jean is really very kind and attentive to these travellers. He made us participate in the manoeuvres and is listening to him about our desires to stopovers. He is also a good cook

The cruise

We have chosen a weekend cruise from Lorient to Belle Île-en-Mer. On the skipper's advice, we visited Houat! A wonderful discovery! We enjoyed combining the pleasure of sailing, rest and participation in manoeuvres. The boat is very pleasant to live with all the necessary comfort. An unforgettable experience!

The skipper

Jean is welcoming and shares his passion like no one else! He contributed to the success of this weekend through his person! A big thank you to him!

Best memories

Arriving on the island of Houat, we were able to swim the next day at noon from the boat. Jean, our skipper, has put music on the boat! Under the sun, we spent a moment out of time!

A very beautiful cruise with several types of weather that allowed us to discover all aspects of sailing, the Breton islands are still as beautiful as ever with unforgettable stops.

The skipper

Jean is a very friendly skipper, very accessible and a good cook, I hope one day to sail with him again.

Best memories

The landing on the island of Houat and the night at anchor were impressive because the swell was so strong, the night was rocking and to my great surprise excellent.
