Your cruise
Come and discover the treasures of Polynesia's most beautiful islands in the company of Laurent, your professional skipper, and a hostess to help with maneuvers, shopping and cooking (hostess compulsory, payable locally).
Your possible stops during this cruise
During your trip, enjoy Tahiti and its capital, Papeete, with its market, black sand beaches and local atmosphere... and Tahiti-iti (almost island) with its many surf spots, such as the mythical Teahupoo wave, before flying to Huahine, where you'll board Laurent's catamaran!
Depending on the length of your cruise, you can venture to the Tuamotu Islands, a splendid archipelago made up of over 70 atolls. The itinerary presented below is an example and may change according to weather conditions and your wishes. The program will be defined on the first day of the cruise.
Here's a sample 8-day program to inspire you!
Day 1: Set sail from Huahine around 9:00 a.m. for the southern part of the Bay. You can visit the ruins of the Marae (an archaeological site used for social and religious activities in pre-colonial Polynesian societies) or take a paddle board / dinghy outing in Tahiti's sumptuous lagoon. Anchor in the village of Huahine, where you'll spend the night.
Day 2: Head for Polynesia's sacred island: Raiatea. Considered the cradle of Polynesian culture, Raiatea boasts white sandy beaches and lush vegetation. Stop off at Faaroa Bay. You'll have the chance to explore the island by paddle board or dinghy.
Day 3: Depart for the Marae of Taputapuatea, stopping at Motu in the north to see rays and sharks. Other activities are possible, and even recommended: paddling, snorkeling and strolling on land, Moorea's strategic point. Return to Raiatea or Uturoa to refuel the catamaran. Overnight anchorage at the artificial Motu opposite.
Day 4: Depart for Tahaa for snorkeling and a barbecue, or head for Apu Bay. Apu Bay is famous for its pearl farm.
Day 5: Visit a vanillerai and head for the coral garden north of the lagoon. Visit to an artisanal rum factory. Overnight at anchor near the east pass.
Day 6: Set sail for Bora Bora. On arrival, you can dive and swim with sharks and stingrays. Spend the night at anchor (Bloody Mari Bay or Matira Beach) and enjoy a splendid sunset.
Day 7: Catamaran tour of Bora Bora. Relaxation and snorkeling: discover the coral garden and swim with leopard rays. Paddle boarding available. Night at anchor at Motu Fanfan.
Day 8: Last stop on Bora Bora: the manta rays. You can go snorkeling or paddle boarding. Head for the village of Vaitape, where your skipper will drop you off.
A reminder: on board the catamaran, you'll find Laurent, your professional skipper, and a hostess to assist him with maneuvers, errands and cooking (compulsory option, payable on site).
