Set sail from Tromso Harbour

Experience an unforgettable adventure aboard an old 1948 sailing barge, now a listed historic monument and converted into a Nordic expedition yacht!
This year, we're taking you to discover the majestic landscapes of Lyngen in Norway. Between sea and mountains, we'll take care of the navigation. To give you the freedom to explore the snow-covered lands of Northern Norway. A cruise for ski touring enthusiasts accompanied by their mountain guide (guide service at your expense, ski equipment not provided).

Here is an indicative program for your Sailing and Skiing Cruise to Lyngen in Norway on a traditional sailing boat

Day 1: boarding in Tromsø
Passengers are welcomed on board (from 6 p.m.) in Tromsø harbor, easily accessible from the airport. Installation on board the traditional sailboat, safety briefing and first dinner. Depending on the arrival times of all passengers, we can sail to the island of Ringvassøya or Renøya, both located at the entrance to the Lyngen Alps. This would allow you to start skiing the next morning.

Days 2 to 7: Sailing and exploring Lyngen
D-Day: departure for the Norway Cruise. Sail from island to island in the Lyngen Alps, taking advantage of daily stopovers to hike between sea and mountains. A new ski spot every day! Uløya, Kågen, Arnøya, Vannøya and many more... Enjoy a sauna deep in the magnificent fjords. And of course, in the evening, don't miss the chance to admire the Northern Lights from the deck of the yacht.
Here's a typical day in Lyngen aboard a traditional sailing yacht:
- Breakfast on board.
- Disembarkation by zodiac at the foot of the mountains (always with your picnic basket prepared by our chef sailor).
- Return to the sailboat in the late afternoon after your day's skiing.
- Short sail to your next ski spot.
- Lunch, aperitif and dinner on board.
- In some anchorages, you can enjoy the benefits of Norwegian saunas.
- Watch the aurora borealis, which is abundant in this polar region, from the sailboat's deck.
- Overnight at anchor.
You'll be back in Tromsø harbor on day 7.

Day 8: Disembarkation in Tromsø
Disembarkation in Bodø by 9:00 am at the latest, or earlier depending on your return flight schedule.

This traditional French sailing boat can accommodate up to 27 passengers during the day and 12 passengers during a cruise, with a crew composed of a captain and 3 to 4 sailors including a cook. At your disposal: - 3 quadruple cabins with bunk beds (12 passengers) - 1 bathroom and 2 toilets

How to get there ?

How to get to Tromsø in Norway:
By plane: several Saturday flights from France to Tromsø with 1 or 2 stopovers. Travel time between 8 and 10 hours.
Tromsø airport is about 20 minutes from the port by cab or bus.

More ecological :
By train/bus: Allow 2 to 3 days for this trip, which will take you through most of Northern Europe. You'll be rewarded with a trip through the magnificent inland landscapes of Sweden and Norway.
