Your cruise
Take advantage of your cruise from Martinique to the Grenadines aboard a sailboat to discover the West Indies.
Your possible stops during this cruise
During your cruise from Martinique, you can visit the Grenadines, depending on your wishes and weather conditions. You can also choose a northerly itinerary to Dominica and Guadeloupe.
On your first day, you'll meet your yacht at the marina harbor in Saint-Martin, for boarding from 5pm. The boat is waiting for you, with bedding ready for your first night on board. Then the next morning, after final formalities, you can cast off around 11 a.m. to begin your cruise.
Here are a few examples of ports of call on your cruise to the Grenadines:
- Bequia: Bequia is a warm and peaceful island in the West Indies. Here you can admire the magnificent Admiralty Bay, discover white sandy beaches and secluded bays with turquoise waters, where you may have the opportunity to swim with turtles. You can also discover traditional fishing villages or enjoy breathtaking ocean views from Fort Hamilton.
- mosquito Island: The small island of Mosquito boasts great diversity. You'll discover lush vegetation, white sandy beaches and a rich variety of wildlife. You'll find exotic seabirds, red-legged turtles and magnificent green iguanas.
- Mayreau: This is the smallest inhabited island in the Grenadines, measuring just 4 square kilometers. Here you can visit the wreck of the Purina, or enjoy a breathtaking view of the Tobago Cays, Canouan and Union from the top of the island.
- Tobago Cays: This is a protected reserve of five uninhabited islands in the heart of the Grenadines. A paradise of warm, clear waters, multicolored fish and the most beautiful coral reef in the West Indies.
- Chatham Bay: Chatham Bay is located at the western end of Union Island, and is one of the island's wildest bays. It is rich in flora and fauna, with many marine species and shallow waters.
- Saint Lucia: Here you'll find magnificent isolated beaches and lush green vegetation, far removed from mass tourism. You'll discover exceptional beaches, encircled by the famous Pitons, emblems of the island and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You can also visit fishermen's villages with colorful wooden houses, typical markets and cosy alleyways.
If you prefer a more northerly itinerary, here are a few examples of stopovers:
- Saint Pierre: In the northwest of Martinique, you'll find Saint-Pierre, at the foot of Mont Pelée. You'll discover magnificent white sand beaches and black sand beaches to the north of Saint-Pierre, as well as crystal-clear waters with pleasant temperatures. If you decide to go to the heart of the town, don't miss the market square, where you can find exotic fruits in a festive and colorful atmosphere. You can also visit the ancestral Notre-Dame de l'Assomption cathedral.
- Dominica: You can stop off on the island of Dominica, a wild island with lush vegetation and a tropical forest running through it. There are numerous rivers, impressive waterfalls and hot springs to bathe in. In the island's markets, you'll find typical island cuisine, with freshly caught shrimp, lobster and fish, exotic fruits and the famous rum and perfumed cocktails.
- Marie Galante : Set course for Marie Galante. Before dropping anchor, you'll take in the turquoise lagoons and magnificent coral reef, then dock at Capesterre-de-Marie-Galante to enjoy its endless stretch of sandy beaches and coconut palms. You can also choose to head for Saint-Louis and take a stroll to reach the impressive cliffs of the northern part of the island.
- Les Saintes: You can reach either Terre-de-Haut or Terre-de-Bas. in Terre-de-Haut, you'll find an authentic little fishing port, colorful traditional houses, the volcanic "Pain de Sucre" hill and the historic Fort Napoléon. Terre-de-Bas is very quiet and discreet, and boasts great diversity. You'll find four beaches with different sand colors, hiking trails suitable for both the more sporty and the calmer among you, and a traditional 17th-century church.
- Grande-Terre: Grande Terre will seduce you with its Caribbean-scented markets, heavenly beaches, museums, gastronomy and numerous hiking trails. You can also take part in a wide range of activities, both on land and in the water.
- Basse-Terre: wilder than Grande-Terre, you'll discover rivers and waterfalls in the heart of the rainforest, as well as a rich heritage of coffee, cocoa and vanilla production that has lasted for centuries.
