Your possible stops during this cruise
please note that the itinerary depends on weather conditions, as decided by your skipper.
Set sail for a Cruise in Norway: Head for the Lofoten Islands, on the program: 6 days of sailing, shore excursions, hikes or rest aboard the sailboat, according to your wishes.
Saturday: Boarding the yacht in Svolvaer harbor
You embark on Saturday morning at 9am. Once on board, you'll get to know the yacht and be reminded of the safety precautions to be taken on board. We start the day with a short sail to our first wild island. Hike to a majestic lake.
Remember, from May 22 to July 23, the sun never sets! Ideal for enjoying the cruise without time constraints. We suggest you watch the midnight sun shave the horizon from the sailboat's deck...
Days 2 to 6 : Sailing and hiking/walking
Each day, after a hearty breakfast, we offer you a choice of landings in Norway. From beaches and peaks to small fishing harbors, you'll discover some of the most beautiful and wide-open spaces in the Arctic! Overnight stays are on the yacht.
Here are a few suggestions of places to visit:
-henningsvaer, with its rich maritime life, where you can try your hand at fishing? Will you be lucky enough to catch a fish in the middle of the Lofoten Islands?
- Skrova, a multi-faceted island, divided into two distinct parts: a wild one offering fine sandy beaches and craggy peaks, and an inhabited one where the port is located.
- Nusfjord, the pearl of the Lofoten Islands, a small fishing village with traditional red and yellow houses, here the wonder is guaranteed!
- Ballstad, the land of hikers! Mountainous and offering breathtaking scenery, Ballstad is a renowned destination, thanks in no small part to its many trails.
Numerous other stopovers await you in the Lofoten Islands, where you can let yourself be carried away by the polar breeze and discover a wealth of treasures...
day 7 : Disembarkation in the port of Svolvær
Already the end of the Norway Cruise, disembarkation scheduled for around 9am. Bid farewell to the crew and these immense Arctic lands, and leave with magnificent memories engraved forever in your minds!
A reminder:
Safety for life on board: Each participant must be able to climb aboard and move around unaided. Each passenger should have no trouble climbing a small ladder (mooring to a dock), climbing a 60cm-high step (boarding from the side of the boat), or moving around on a cluttered, potentially slippery, moving surface (boat deck). Participation in maneuvers: No technical knowledge of sailing is required. The crew is responsible for all maneuvers. Should you wish to participate and learn the basics of fjord navigation, the crew will be happy to pass on their knowledge. All meals are prepared by the crew during land-based activities, and you are asked to help with washing up and stowing your personal belongings on board.
Hiking/walking or family" section: If you book the yacht with friends or family, we'll tailor-make a trip to suit your wishes and level of fitness. If you're coming on a date other than a privatization date, you'll be looking for an "active" hiker with relatively mountain feet. Indeed, even if the altitude differences (on average 600 meters / day) and distances (10-12km / day) are accessible to access the most beautiful viewpoints, the paths are often more technical than a French trail. In Lofoten, the paths climb quickly, there are scree slopes, passages with handrails, slippery passages if it's raining... as you'll have understood, you need to take your time!
