Your cruise
Get off the beaten track and try your hand at a sailing course in the islands of Brittany aboard an old rig. This former fishing vessel from the early 20th century offers a completely different sailing experience than what you know. Your sailing instructor adapts to all levels and shares with you his passion among the beautiful islands of the Gulf of Morbihan.
Your possible stops during this cruise
You have an appointment to board at 9am at the Port of Locmariaquer on board the old rigging. Your skipper and sailing instructor will welcome you on board to give you all the details about this day sailing course to the islands of Brittany and the rules to respect on board
Head for Houat and Hoedic, depending on the weather and tides! During the navigation, Manu will explain how the sails work, will accompany you during the manoeuvres and will give you all his precious advice as an experienced sailor. You will land on the islands between 12:00 and 2:00 p. m
The meal is not included, so it is up to you to plan your picnic. You can also have lunch in a restaurant on land
You will complete your initiation during the return navigation and will be back at the port at 6pm.

We had a great day on board Manu's old rig, with all my family (13 people from 2 to 70 years old). Manu made us participate in the operations by explaining us the interest and the way of doing things. Morning without wind, on a sea of oil, we joined Houat thanks to the engine after 2h30. In Houat, we went to the big beach with the zodiac, we picnicked and had a walk between us, on the advice of Manu for 3 hours. The sun and the wind arrived, and we sailed back. It was great. Our youngest was able to sleep inside the boat. Thanks Manu and Adrien for this wonderful day!
Manu gave us a very warm welcome, with Adrien, his trainee skipper. Loquacious, educational, he answered all our questions as neophytes and showed us some navigation basics. He told us the history of the boat, which has been through a lot. He knew how to make us respect the rules on board with tact but firmness towards the children, and provided us with a life jacket for the smallest. In short, he met all our expectations! Thank you Manu !
We had a fantastic day with all our family, grandparents and children. Thank you Manu for sharing your passion and the history of this boat!
Thank you
Beautiful day with blue sky and wind. Manu and Letitia are very nice and we could take part in the sail maneuvers and also steer. It was really cool. To do again if we come back to the area.Yves and Catherine (Switzerland)
Perfect organization
Destination Houat, sunny weather, light sea but little wind. We were able to send all the sails, steer whoever wanted. And picnic on Houat + small discovery of the island: what better way to spend a nice day of holidays!
Manu and his friend are very nice. They tell you the history of the boat, give the rudiments of sailing to those who want to... top!
Great day ! Very warm welcome by Manu and Laetitia, the whole family (alone on board) took part in the different sail manoeuvres to go to Houat Island. Peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Nice atmosphere on the boat. Manu and Laetitia were perfect! Thank you again for this beautiful day
All right, phone call to pay the reservation
It was an experience we will never forget. Manu, the skipper, is charming. We really enjoyed this day. We recommend it more than warmly. Not to be missed!!!!!!
Manu is very friendly, a good listener, and very patient (for the neophytes).
Top comfort due to the 7 other people who didn't come, calm, very interesting day, marine vocabulary almost to check before boarding haha

The organizer is a professional who manages his crossing without stress (an asset)
Have a great day, very nice trip! Very interesting discussions with Manu who made us discover the functioning and history of the sailboat throughout the day. The stopover in Houat is very pleasant.
Manu is a passionate person who taught us a lot of things throughout the day, very friendly!
Great trip with Manu on a very nice rig. Very comfortable for people who are prone to seasickness because there is very little roll and heel (pitch). Perfect for a family day! Manu is super pro, always smiling and very available. We recommend it!
Manu is very professional, very available and always smiling!
A very beautiful old rig with a story that gives the boat its soul and strength. A very beautiful sea trip with participation (if you want!) in some manoeuvres. We sailed towards Houat. A beautiful cruise where you have time to admire the sea, the sky, look at how to hoist the sails... really beautiful! The lunch break and swimming in Houat is a delight! To be recommended very strongly!
Manu received us with great kindness and simplicity. He is an excellent skipper, interesting, passionate about his activity, with many strings to his bow! He explained to us and made us participate in the life of the boat with calm and competence! Very nice exchanges with a very good experienced and pleasant navigator! Nothing but good! To do and to do again!
Hello everyone, I made this cruise on August 20, 2018. A superb day of relaxation on this old rig full of history. This boat is to be discovered both historically and in terms of the way it sails. Super nice and exotic stopover on Hoedic. Very beautiful day of RELAXATION which amazes the eyes...
Manu and Emeric (his second in command) are 2 super nice sailors, professionals who gladly share their knowledge. We participate in the manoeuvres if you like, capstan knot, jib, jib, staysail, it speaks in the words of the sea... the foot what
Go for a nice anecdote from a neophyte on sail, the fact that you can swim back to the boat and jump off it is not much, but to live it is very nice.
Super cruise with Manu and Emeric on a very well maintained early 20th century super sailboat. Day at sea to the island of Houat, an unforgettable moment with these two enthusiasts who let us participate in the manoeuvres but without any obligations. We highly recommend this experience.
Welcoming to the top by this passionate sailor, very attentive and always ready to answer our questions. Great time spent with this enthusiast and his sailor!
It was a great ride in the Gulf of Morbihan! Everything was very beautiful, a perfect welcome and a stopover on the island of Hoedic a little longer than expected so we were able to really enjoy it
Manu is really a top skipper! He gladly shares his adventures with us and let us manage this beautiful sailboat, a great experience
