Your possible stops during this cruise
Set sail for a day on the Golfe du Morbihan from Vannes or Baden Toulvern!
"Please note that the itinerary will depend on weather conditions, your wishes and those of your skipper. In addition, sanitary constraints will be taken into account during the trip."
You meet at 9:30 am at the port of Vannes (off-season) / Toulvern (July/August) for a 10:00 am departure. You'll be warmly welcomed by the crew, and after a safety briefing on board and a tour of the yacht, you'll cast off: set a course for the Golfe du Morbihan!
On this day, you'll enjoy 7 hours of sailing between the various islands of the Gulf, bearing in mind that according to the Breton saying, "there are as many islands in the Gulf of Morbihan as there are days in the year". You'll sail from discovery to discovery... with a picnic break for lunch.
And all this aboard a magnificent rig over 100 years old, a real opportunity for all maritime history buffs, for all adventurers, or for all those wishing to enjoy a day's escape full of charm and authenticity.
Here are some of the islands in the Golfe du Morbihan you'll recognize from your old rig,
- Île aux Moines, the largest of the Gulf and often referred to as the pearl of Morbihan. L'île aux Moines is a flower-filled destination with a rich diversity of vegetation, which blends harmoniously with the small white houses typical of the island. A region that perfectly blends nature and the sea, with civilization past and present.
- L'île d'Arz, nicknamed "L'île des Capitaines" because of its history over the centuries. Indeed, the island of Arz was once at the heart of the region's maritime trade. As a result, sailors' houses sprang up all over the place, and the island became known as l'île des Capitaines!
- Île de Tascon, an island preserved by the last inhabitants of this beautiful region of Brittany. Today, the island of Tascon is a haven of peace for many birds, populating its meadows and small woods in complete tranquillity.
Not to mention all the other wonders to be discovered in the Gulf of Morbihan.
Return to the original port of Vannes (off-season) or Toulvern (July/August) in the late afternoon at around 5:00, 6:00 or 7:00 pm, depending on the tide. It's time to thank the crew for a fabulous day, say goodbye to the fleet and leave the ship with a strong desire to return!

We spent a splendid day sailing on the Golfe du Morbihan, thanks to the association, a group of enthusiasts who restore boats such as the 105-year-old Herenguier! Thanks to Lulu and Philippe for organizing this beautiful trip on land and at sea, where we were able to enjoy the beauty and tranquillity of Ile aux Moines. If you're a fan of speed or performance, don't bother... here, we take the time to enjoy the beautiful and simple things in life, such as the excellent oysters served on board in a spirit of sharing!
Communication was very fluid with Charlotte and then with the skipper.
