Day 1
Arrival desired the day before, with overnight stay at the hotel. Meet the next morning at 10:00 am outside the Harbour Master's Office to board the sailboat at the port of St. Paul in Kodiak. Which is the name of both the capital and the island. Your skipper will explain the safety instructions and the course of your cruise.
Day 2
Direction East Arm Uganik Bay which is located on the west side of the island, admire the landscape that will be offered to you from the boat.
Day 3
You have arrived at East Arm Uganik Bay. Contemplate the mix of dense wilderness and the vastness of the landscape. This area is home to the Kodiak bear, which can reach up to 3.5 meters in height when standing. Come and see them fishing when the salmon are coming up the rivers.
Day 4
Head to Katmai National Park across the Chelikof Strait and see the Novarupta volcano mountain range loom before you. A breathtaking and unique landscape.
Day 5
You will go up the Kinak bay which leads to the territory of the brown bears who gather to catch the salmon of the estuary. You will then arrive at Hidden Harbor which is located on the Katmai Peninsula.
Day 6
Geographic Harbor is located in the heart of Katmai National Park, the smooth shape of its high cliffs reveals the past of the glacier turned mountain.
Day 7
Still in the heart of the national park, observe the mountain peaks stained pale gray from the 1912 eruption of the Novarupta volcano.
Day 8 - 9
There are many stops along the Alaska Peninsula between the Bering Sea and the North Pacific. In these very fishy waters, you will witness cetaceans and orcas in the wake of the sailboat every day. at high altitude, countless seabirds can be seen, including bald eagles perched on the cliffs.

This 16m schooner, ideal for 8 people, is equipped with 8 single berths and a double cabin reserved for the skipper and his son. There is not necessarily a door to separate the bunks. It has a hot shower and a dinghy with engine. You will also find a very varied library.
