Your cruise
Accompanied by professional skipper Camille, take part in a 12-day offshore training course from Brittany to English Cornwall, the Isles of Scilly or Ireland, and discover charming rivers and small ports. The aim of this course is to help you become more autonomous in coastal and offshore sailing, and to help you adapt to sea and wind conditions, so that you can enjoy sailing and learning.
Please note: A cross-Channel trip is planned, so experience of coastal sailing is required, and this course does not lead to a diploma. However, it is in line with the Swiss license and the French offshore license. It gives you the opportunity to add nautical miles to your logbook, and to learn the skills you need to validate your certificate of competency.

Your possible stops during this cruise
note: The itinerary will depend on weather conditions, your wishes and those of your skipper. In addition, sanitary constraints will be taken into account during the trip.
You meet the boat at the Moulin Blanc harbor in Brest on Sunday at 9:30 a.m. (it is possible to sleep on board the night before). Together, we'll draw up a provisioning list and do the shopping. For your information: Camille, the skipper, will be able to provide you with fresh supplies in advance.
When you come aboard, you'll be warmly welcomed by Camille with a hot drink around the saloon: the perfect opportunity to introduce ourselves and to talk about the principles of life on board, so that everyone finds their place and feels at ease. Next, you'll familiarize yourself with the organization of the yacht and its equipment.
Before setting sail, a safety briefing will enable you to discover or reinforce your knowledge of communication and procedure, both inshore and offshore.
Time to set sail!
We leave the port on Sunday for our first stopover in Brittany, heading for the Rade de Brest, Camaret, Molène, Lanildut and more. The first two days of sailing aboard the yacht will be an ideal opportunity for you to get your bearings on the different points of sail, and to brush up on common maneuvers.
On the following days, we'll choose the right moment to cross the English Channel and head for Cornwall with its rivers and small ports, or the Scilly archipelago, or Ireland if conditions permit. All of these proposals offer you the opportunity to discover superb landscapes.
by the end of this course, you'll be confident in all points of sail and maneuvers. You'll discover or refine your knowledge of navigation in watches. Emphasis will be placed on on-board management, safety, preparation and navigation follow-up. We'll always take the time to discover the culture, fauna and flora of the territories we visit.
Reminder: A minimum of coastal sailing experience is required to take part in this Brittany-England Cornwall offshore training course. A cross-Channel trip is planned.
good to know: This cruise can give you the opportunity to add nautical miles to your logbook and learn the skills needed to validate your certificate of competence!
