Your cruise

Set sail from juneau

The Inside Passage is a maritime route linking Canada to Alaska, bordered by a myriad of islands and fjords. This tour will take you through the Inside Passage in Southeast Alaska. The boat is still the only way to access these territories of a wild and pure nature. Along the water and the fjords, colonies of orcas and humpback whales, sea otters, sea lions and bears in search of salmon are offered to our observations.
The Kuro Shivo, a warm sea current from Japan, will make you enjoy a very mild microclimate.

Your possible stops during this cruise

This itinerary is subject to weather conditions, and is therefore subject to change
Depending on the dates, the itineraries are subject to change, you will find them in "+ info"
This itinerary is an example.

DAY 1 : Arrival desired the day before, with night at the hotel. Take advantage of this day to visit the museums, living memory of the pioneers of the gold rush. Meet your crew the next morning at 9:00 a.m. in Juneau, the capital of Alaska, and your professional skipper will remind you of the rules of the road and safety aboard a ship

DAY 2 and 3: Sail to Glacier Bay National Park. Glacier outbursts during the last "Little Ice Age" of the 18th century forced the Tlingit Nation to flee their ancestral homeland. Disembark and hike to the foot of some of the tallest glaciers that pour mounds of ice into the fjord with a great crash. Get your cameras ready to take pictures and keep a souvenir of these unique places

DAY 4: Set sail for Elfin Cove. You will pass through narrow channels with strong currents. Upon arrival at Elfin Cove, disembark and discover a village at the "end of the world", north of Chichagof Island. Fishing families live year round in this quiet cove with houses on stilts. Dinner and night at anchor

DAY 5 : After several days in the cold and in the discovery, you will discover the hot springs of Warm Spring Bay, ideal to take a comforting bath after several days on the boat. Anchor at Waterfall Lagoon

DAYS 6 and 7: Head to Petersburg, a former Norwegian colony. Today, it is one of the main fishing ports in the region. Magnificent panorama of the snow-capped peaks nearby. Night at anchor near the town

DAYS 8 and 9 : Head for the Tongass forest, known for its Anan Creek bear observatory. You can spend the rest of the day watching them fish and photographing nature in its raw state. Overnight at anchor in Anan Bay

DAY 10 : Disembarkation in the late afternoon aboard Didier's schooner in Ketchikan.
An advice: consider a night in a hotel the night of the landing in the city.

For the cruise from 16 to 25/08 the itinerary will be reversed.
