Your possible stops during this cruise
Here is an indicative program for the One-way sailing course to the Balearic Islands.
The program
A varied itinerant program of coastal and offshore sailing. The program will of course depend on the weather. The aim is to complete the crossing in the best possible conditions, while taking full advantage of the richness of the sailing area. The content will depend on the profile of the participants.
this is a one-way course (Sète, Hérault → Majorca, Balearic Islands) requiring a minimum of commitment and prior experience, as the night sailing section can last more than 48 hours.
Boarding is scheduled for 3:30pm on the first day. At the end of the course, it is possible to spend a final night on board before disembarking the following morning (at 8 a.m.)
Sailing area
Departure from Sète, one of the liveliest and most authentic ports in the Gulf of Lion, and arrival in Majorca. The port of arrival in Mallorca is not defined, but will be chosen according to weather conditions to provide you with an optimal sailing experience. The island is very well served by public transport, and the skipper will ensure that the port chosen for disembarkation provides easy access to Palma, where you can take the ferry or plane home.
The boat?
The RM 10.50 is a sailing yacht designed and equipped for travel. It has the allure of a large boat, yet remains very maneuverable. Tiller, mainsail traveler brought back to the helm station, Genoa on furler, staysail on furler, symmetrical spinnaker, it's ideal for training and practicing both maneuvers and navigation.
We recommend that you contact us beforehand to ensure that this course is right for you :-)
