Your cruise
A private cruise for 4 people in the Aeolian Islands departing from Milazzo, a week sailing between the various Aeolian islands such as Lipari, Vulcano, Stromboli, Salina and Panarea.
Your possible stops during this cruise
The following is an itinerary for your private sailing cruise in the Aeolian Islands, subject to weather conditions.
Day 1: Marina del Nettuno to Milazzo
You are expected at the marina for a 5:00 pm departure. Once on board, safety rules will be explained. Finally, a quick tour of the yacht is in order, so that you can stow your belongings in the cabins and find your bearings for the week ahead, which promises to be one of vacation. For your first evening, head for the island of Lipari.
Day 2: Lipari
Set off to discover Lipari, a sublime island with a thousand and one things to see. You start off at one of Lipara's marinas (Grande or Corta) to dock at the port. Right next door, you'll find Lipari Castle, as well as the Aeolian Archaeological Museum. You'll also discover numerous religious buildings, such as the Norman Cloister, the churches of Our Lady under the Chain or St. Joseph and the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo. There are also numerous beaches, such as the Praia de Vinci, accessible only by boat. For a dazzling sunset and a night at anchor, you can head for the Quattrocchi Belvedere.
Day 3: Lipari - Panarea
Depart in the early morning for Panarea, and enjoy the turquoise waters of Cala Junco and the other beaches lining the shores of Panarea island. Stroll through the narrow streets of Panarea, climb up to the "Punta Levante" for a bird's-eye view of Panaera and Stromboli. The detour to Spinazzola rock is well worth it.
Day 4: Panarea - Stromboli
Stromboli, a volcanic island famous for its still-awake volcano, where many tourists climb the volcano to admire the eruptions - it's compulsory to do so with a guide (remember to book in advance). At night, the island and its erupting volcano are a sight to behold.
Day 5: Stromboli - Salina
Salina is one of the most beautiful of the Aeolian Islands. Take the time to visit the village of Santa Marina, the island's capital, and stroll through the narrow streets and light-colored houses typical of the Mediterranean. In the north-west of the island, there's the Pollara Cliff, a small enclave carved out of the rock, accessible from both land and sea.
Day 6: Salina -Filicudi
Head for Filicudi, passing through the bay of Capo Graziano. If you'd like to go snorkeling, the ideal option is to visit the Bue Marino caves, also known as the green caves, the largest on the island. Afterwards, you can visit one of the island's many villages, strolling through the narrow streets of white and colorful houses. You'll spend the night here.
Day 7: Filicudi - Vulcano
Depart Filicudi for Vulcano. Vulcano is ideal for hiking, and you can discover the "Valle dei Mostri" in the north of the island, with its hot springs. Enjoy your last day of cruising in the Aeolian Islands.
Day 8: Marina del Nettuno to Milazzo
