Leave for a stay of 3 to 5 days along the coast of Martinique. On board François' sailboat, you will be able to enjoy the charms of this Caribbean island by alternating paradisiacal landscapes, swimming in turquoise waters, idleness and visits to picturesque villages.
Your possible stops during this cruise
The itinerary is subject to change depending on your day of departure, the length of your cruise, the weather conditions, your wishes and those of your skipper. Depending on the weather conditions and your desires, there are a multitude of possible itineraries :
POSSIBILITY OF ITINERARY N°1:
DAY 1 : Sainte Anne - Anse à l'Âne (18 MN / 3hrs sailing)
Meet at around 10am to board the yacht on which you will spend your stay
Once the races are completed with the skipper and the installation done, you will sail in the immediate vicinity of the Diamond Rock, a true emblem of Martinique. You will stop for lunch in the picturesque creeks of Anse Noire or Anse Dufour
DAY 2 : Anse à l'Âne - Saint Pierre (15 MN / 3hrs sailing)
For this new day, you will take the direction of Saint-Pierre and will enjoy a magnificent view of Mount Pelée during your navigation. Once ashore, you will have the opportunity to visit the charming downtown area of the historic capital of Martinique. Dinner and night at anchor in Saint-Pierre.
DAY 3 : Saint Pierre - Fort de France Bay (13 MN / 2h30 navigation)
After breakfast, you will leave Saint Pierre to reach the magnificent bay of Fort de France. In the afternoon, you will have free time to visit the old centre of the capital or to enjoy a swimming and relaxing session on one of the beaches at your disposal. Dinner and night at anchor in Fort de France.
DAY 4 : Fort de France - Anses d'Arlet (7 MN / 2hrs sailing)
In the morning, you will sail along the bay of Fort de France then anchor in the peaceful bay of the Anses d'Arlet, one of the most popular in Martinique. In the afternoon, you can take advantage of your afternoon to try your hand at paddling, perfect your tan or swim in the turquoise waters of the Caribbean.
DAY 5 : Anses d'Arlet - Le Marin (16 MN / 4hrs sailing)
For this last day, sailing sensations in perspective with sailing along the south coast of Martinique. Once arrived in the surroundings of Le Marin, you will anchor in the splendid bay of Le Marin lined with mangroves. Disembarkation will take place around 4pm.
POSSIBILITY OF ITINERARY N°2 :
Important information : this itinerary follows the windward coast. It is therefore open to the Atlantic and directly exposed to the trade winds. Sailing along this coast is therefore only possible when the weather conditions are favourable.
DAY 1 : Le François - long islet (5MN / 1h of navigation)
Head for the long islet and visit the white background and Josephine's bathtub.
DAY 2 : long islet - Loup-Garou islet - Havre du Robert (10 MN / 2h30 of navigation)
Sail to Loup-Garou islet where you will enjoy a paradisiacal landscape: a tongue of sand in the open sea. In the afternoon, you will be able to visit the islet chancel and the islet Madame.
DAY 3 : Havre du Robert - Prequ'île de la Caravelle - Baie du Galion (7 MN / 2hrs sailing)
In the morning, you will hoist the sails to the Caravelle Peninsula and its breathtaking scenery. Afternoon swimming and lazing around in this unique setting. Dinner and night at anchor on the Baie du Galion.
DAY 4 : Baie du Galion - Le François (10 MN / 3hrs sailing)
You will leave the Galleon Bay in the morning, to join Le François. You will disembark at 4:00 pm.
The skipper sleeps in a double cabin, the others are available for passengers

- Take the plane to Fort de France airport
- Taxi from Fort de France to Le Marin (30mn / 40€)
Pleasant three-day cruise. The sailboat is beautiful and spacious; the cabin is comfortable and François, the captain, is both competent, open to his passengers' expectations and flexible. He can thus offer you an intensive all-day navigation or, on the contrary, a lighter version allowing you to combine a few hours of navigation with breaks at anchor to snorkel, swim or go ashore. Do not hesitate to let him know your wishes before departure and to agree beforehand on the details of the cruise (provisioning, route, cleaning...). Discovering Martinique aboard such a sailboat remains an experience and an always memorable interlude.

Cruise a little different from the original destination because of the coronavirus but François was able to offer us some interesting spots all the same and the atmosphere on the boat was very cool, good exchanges, simplicity... We felt good on holiday... It was a great life. We therefore recommend it.
