Your cruise
Set sail for a convivial and shared life on board!
I'm keen to share my passion for the sea and boats. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced sailor, you're sure to make progress. I offer a tailor-made program to help you gain confidence and become more independent. As I like the boat to be fast, and if you're motivated, we'll work on sail trim at all points of sail. The spinnaker is out as soon as possible, so you'll learn how to handle it safely.
Your possible stops during this cruise
The skipper will always propose a program according to the weather and after discussing your wishes (cabotage or max of navigation).
Below is just an example of what your cruise program might look like.
The aim is to learn or improve while having fun. This trip is designed to be participative and above all convivial. Cooking will be done together, and meals will be shared on deck. You can choose to leave for 2 days or extend the adventure by a further 3 days.
DAY 1: Boarding and first sail
Your crew will meet you at 8:30-9:00 a.m. to embark and discover the boat. Once you've settled in, your skipper will give you a briefing on safety and the general operation of the yacht, and will inform you of the sailing schedule according to the weather. Shopping will have been done prior to your departure, but with your tastes in mind. Organic and local products are preferred.
You'll set sail for your first trip to one of the islands in the Bay of Quiberon: Houat, Belle-Ile or Hoëdic. Your arrival time at the anchorage will depend on your wishes.
If sailing is your priority, you'll arrive in the early evening. If you'd rather combine the pleasures of the sea with a stroll on land, you'll drop anchor in the afternoon to enjoy the island: a swim, a siesta, a stroll along the coastal paths... For the night, you and your skipper will choose the least crowded spot possible.
DAY 2: Day at sea and discovery of the islands in Quiberon Bay
You'll enjoy a day at anchor, a chance to relax on the boat's deck, take a swim or even relax on one of the beaches at your disposal.
- If you opt for a 2-day cruise, you'll set sail again in the afternoon for your return to the port of La Trinité.
- If you choose to extend the adventure by a few days, you'll have dinner and spend the night at anchor on one of the islands in Quiberon Bay.
DAY 3: Windward sailing to Les Glénan or Ile d'Yeu
After breakfast, you'll set sail for a new destination. This will be decided according to the wind conditions. If the wind is westerly/south-westerly, you'll head for the Glénan archipelago. If the wind is westerly/northwesterly, the sea will carry you to the Ile d'Yeu.
DAY 4: Beach, lazing around, then on to Groix or La Turballe
For this new day, you'll enjoy the island you arrived on the day before (hiking, biking, beach). Depending on the weather and tide, you'll head for a port halfway back (Groix for Les Glénans, La Turballe for Ile d'Yeu), enjoy a meal on board and spend the night at anchor.
DAY 5: Cabotage, short stopovers and return to the port of La Trinité
After breakfast on board, you'll begin your return to the port of La Trinité, coasting along the coastline and making short stops to enjoy a swim or a moment of idleness. You'll arrive at the port of Trinité at around 5 p.m. for disembarkation.
NB: Cooking plays an important role on board. I love good products and sharing good meals. If you're motivated, your help is most welcome.
Sample recipes: Aperitif black radish slices with fromage frais and homemade seaweed tartar; Zucchini salad with onion, lemon, feta, ginger and fresh mint; Thai soup, coral lentil dahl; No-bake lemon cheese cake for special occasions; ... You know what else? We even make sourdough bread on board! If you like it, you'll get the recipe and go home with a little jar of sourdough to prolong the pleasure at home
See you soon on the water! Pierre

The skipper Pierre is an excellent sailor and an excellent teacher. He gives clear and precise information for the maneuvers to the whole crew. He lets the crew take responsibility and guides them in a serene and dynamic way. Moreover, the course was very well thought out for a 3-day stay. With in more an initiation to the sculling. A big thank you
Pierre, in addition to being an excellent sailor, is an excellent cook. He shares his culinary finds and wines at lunch and dinner. Pierre is simply very nice and easy to talk to. The conversations are interesting and lively, we have fun, we eat very well and we learn to sail. 3 days that leave only excellent memories.
We had a wonderful time. Pierre knew how to make us discover this extraordinary region and we have only one desire: to go back!
Pierre is a skipper who listens, is very educational, patient and has taught us a lot. He is passionate about sailing, always on the lookout for the best sail tuning. The sailboat suits him well, as it is a particularly fast monohull. Pierre introduced us to sculling: a great sport! To make it even better, he is an excellent cook and we enjoyed it! Thank you for everything! (and thank you for the bread recipe!) See you soon!
