Your possible stops during this cruise
"The itinerary will depend on weather conditions, your wishes and those of your skipper. In addition, sanitary constraints will be taken into account during your stay."
Below is an indicative program for your Sailing course in the Isles of Scilly and English Cornwall from Brittany:
Vincent will meet you at 2:00 pm at the port of Douarnenez, near Quimper. following a warm welcome, a tour of the yacht, your installation on board, provisioning and a briefing on life and safety rules, you'll hoist the sails. Set sail for your first cross-Channel crossing!
But before you set sail for the English mainland, there's an essential first step: getting to grips with the boat. You'll carry out your first maneuvers in the Bay of Douarnenez and in the Iroise Sea, discovering Ouessant.
Once you've got to grips with the boat, you'll set off on your first cross-Channel adventure, sailing in quarters and taking in the English Cornwall and Isles of Scilly.
Here, you'll sail from stopover to stopover at interesting anchorages. From the sea, you'll face the spectacular cliffs of Land's End on the tip of English Cornwall; spot seals basking in the sun on the rocks and, with a bit of luck while sailing, maybe even meet a pod of dolphins.
This sailing course will end with a second cross-Channel shift. But before disembarking in Douarnenez harbor, you'll enjoy some coastal sailing in North Brittany and on the tip of Brittany.
Rhythm and content of the stages:
- Each course begins and ends with offshore sailing in quarters, in one or more legs, depending on the most favorable weather conditions.
- Between the two crossings, you'll enjoy coastal passages to anchorages of interest.
During this sailing course, you'll learn and improve your sailing skills:
- Sailing in watches.
- Routing.
- Catography-navigation.
- Steering.
- Spinnaker.
- Maneuvers.
-and much more... Don't hesitate to ask Vincent!
As a reminder, a minimum of experience is required to take advantage of this sailing course. A minimum of 15 days' experience in liveaboard sailing is required.

First Class 12 - 11.96 meters
Prototype on a First Class 12 hull (One Tone offshore racing, from the 80's), she has been completely refitted to make a sailing boat offering a great pleasure in sailing, all in a nice comfort. Indeed, this sailboat is very well equipped (Sails, textile fittings optimized for ease of maneuvering, electronics, etc.) And without misplaced pride (but with a little pride all the same), all the people who came to sail, left with beautiful feelings for this pretty lady! On board: 2 double cabins (At your disposal) + 1 single cabin (For the captain) + 1 bathroom. 2 places available in the square, if needed.
