ITINERARY Cap Corse and Tuscan Islands
DAY 1: Saint-Florent
Boarding scheduled for 10am at the port of Saint-Florent. You'll settle in on the yacht, then Olivier will remind you of the rules of life and safety on board. You'll hoist the sails to leave the harbor, then set sail in the Gulf of Saint-Florent. You'll use this time to learn or perfect your knowledge of winds, maneuvers and sails. Sailing along the coast, you'll discover the magnificent beaches of Lotu and Saleccia. You'll drop anchor and enjoy a swim in the turquoise waters where you'll spend the night at anchor.
DAY 2: Cap Corse
Depart for Cap Corse, around 25 nautical miles away (5 hours' sailing). You'll make a long climb northwards, passing between the coast and the island of Giraglia to arrive in the magnificent bay of Santa Maria, with its Genoese tower and small chapel.
DAY 3: Capraia
Head for Capraia, 23 nautical miles away (4 to 5 hours' sailing). It's a wild and fascinating island, a true Mediterranean pearl and one of the 7 sister islands of the Tuscan Archipelago. Its charming little port and authentic village perched beneath a citadel will win you over! There are a few mooring possibilities, to the north of the port or in front of the port, in front of a small beach.
DAY 4: Elba
If you like, we can take you to the island of Elba, the largest of the 7 islands in the Tuscan archipelago! Here you'll find endless golden beaches, ancient Tuscan villages and impressive cliffs.
DAY 5: Macinaggio
Macinaggio 27 nautical miles: Back to the Corsican coast, and more precisely to the port of Macinaggio, 27 nautical miles away (5 hours' sailing). Macinaggio is the largest marina and fishing port on the Cap Corse. The landscapes, still untamed, are of exceptional beauty and rarity. The bay of Macinaggio boasts several coves and sandy beaches, most of which are accessible by boat.
DAY 6: Saint-Florent
After 8 hours of sailing and adventure (44 nautical miles), you'll be back in Saint-Florent. If you'd like to enjoy your snorkeling one last time, drop anchor at Giottani's marine beach, before heading back to St-Florent in the evening. Arrival in St-Florent around 5 p.m. for disembarkation.... eh yes, that's the end of this wonderful holiday!
ITINERARY WEST île Rousse and Calvi
DAY 1: Saint-Florent
Boarding scheduled in the morning at the port of Saint-Florent. You'll settle in on the yacht, then Olivier will remind you of the rules of safety and life on board. Hoist the sails to leave the harbor and set sail in the Gulf of Saint-Florent. You'll use this time to learn or perfect your knowledge of winds, maneuvers and sails. Lunch on board, then you'll sail along the Corsican coast towards the beach at Saleccia, where you'll spend the day and night.
DAY 2: Ile Rousse
L'ile Rousse: After a morning swim, you'll set off for a 4-hour sail to Ile Rousse, where you'll discover this town with its narrow, winding streets and tiled-roofed houses overlooking the bay and its turquoise waters.
DAY 3: Calvi
Drive to the Gulf of Calvi. You'll drop anchor in the Bay of Algajo, a splendid spot with small coves and rocks eroded by the sea breeze. You'll spend the day here, then enjoy the sunset from the deck of your boat in the late afternoon.
DAY 4: Calvi
Destination Calvi. Here we recommend a magnificent walk from the citadel to the lighthouse, with sublime panoramic views.
DAY 5: Ile Rousse
Back to Ile Rousse.
DAY 6: Saint-Florent
Saint-Florent. After a final swim, you'll set course again for Saint Florent and take advantage of this final sail to improve the maneuvers you've learned. You'll disembark at around 5 p.m., marking the end of a wonderful cruise.

Olivier made our first family sailing experience possible. We were all able to take part in maneuvering the boat and practicing map reading. We discovered what life is like aboard a sailboat and tested the different wind conditions. It made us want to do it all over again very soon!
Olivier is keen to immerse us in the life of a sailor, and he integrates the whole crew, which is very rewarding for the younger ones. He adapts to weather conditions and takes everyone's wishes into account. Many thanks to him for his generosity and his teaching.
Cruising with my 15-year-old daughter. Both novices, we had everything to learn. From nautical jargon to sailing techniques and maneuvers. We had a lot of laughs at our initial incomprehension and incompetence. Life on board was friendly and serene, and we met some wonderful people. Unfortunately, there was little wind during our stay, but that didn't stop us from going as far as Capraia. Every anchorage was magnificent.
Olivier is very professional. You feel safe aboard his beloved sailboat. He knows how to pass on his passion through teaching methods adapted to all levels. He passes on his energy, which perfectly matches his motto. "more than a sailing school, a way of life"
I enjoyed every minute on this boat. The silence, the lapping of the water and above all the stars.
A good cruise that allowed us to go as far as Capria despite a light wind The anchorages were very beautiful A good balance between sailing time and rest time
Olivier made a point of showing us all the aspects of navigation: sailing on various points of sail: close-hauled on the beam and downwind under spinnaker Adjusting the sails with the windvane and penons Theoretical aspects: revision of knots, various points of sail and route traces on the charts A very good cruise to revise what you have learnt and become more independent
Very interesting program, going up the Corsican Cape from St Florent, islands of Capraia and Elba very beautiful to visit, including a free day on Elba at the anchorage in Marina de Campo, return to the Corsican Cape, magnificent anchorages with snorkeling possibilities... To do...
Adapted well to the sailing conditions with unfortunately some days without much wind. Allows to have another vision of the navigation maneuvers and to enrich the experience already acquired during other sailing courses, especially for the nights at anchor.
Spots in Corsica are magnificent, especially in Cap Corse, and the same goes for the Tuscan islands: the small port of Capraia is picturesque and worth visiting, and Portoferraio is interesting. Excellent atmosphere and complicity with the other trainees, laughter and good humor!
