Come and experience a captivating cruise in Southern Brittany! Whether you want to learn the basics of navigation, perfect your technique or simply immerse yourself in the beauty of the maritime landscape, this adventure is for you. Sail from island to island and discover the picturesque harbors for which Brittany's coastline is famous.
Admire spectacular panoramas, breathe in the fresh ocean air and let yourself be seduced by the magic of each port of call. It's the perfect opportunity to create unforgettable memories at sea, surrounded by the wild beauty of Brittany!

Your possible stops during this cruise

Departing from Bénodet, you'll sail to the Glénan archipelago, then discover the magnificent wild islands of Southern Brittany, while perfecting your sailing skills.
The island of Groix, still very typical, then Belle-île.
You'll then stop off in Lorient: visit the Port-Louis citadel and discover the remains of the silk route at the Compagnie des Indes museum (a taste here).
You can then return to Bénodet to disembark.

If you prefer, you can also sail to the islands of Ouessant or Molène.
Between maneuvering, navigating according to currents and wind, reading weather data, charts, sounding lines and establishing the route to take to arrive safely in port, there'll be no shortage of opportunities to awaken the pleasure of sailing!
The splendors of the coastline or unusual encounters, while observing or fishing, will relax and amaze you.

Our stopovers will give you the opportunity to discover island life, the men and women who live there all year round, and the activities that can be found there. A guaranteed change of scenery just a stone's throw from the mainland.
The large-scale nautical events will not be outdone, allowing you to admire the know-how of yesterday and today.

The cruise

In spite of a very unstable weather during the 3 days of sailing, Eric and Julien (our skipper) knew how to prove reasonable solutions for our capacities and the weather without ever putting us in danger and while enjoying ourselves. We left Benodet and sailed for 6 to 8 hours the first day to the Glenans where we anchored. Then we returned to the harbour both nights to sleep and we were very happy about that because of the storms at night. Then we stayed close to the coast the other 2 days for safety with gusts up to 45 knots. But that didn't stop us from having intense and very instructive outings.

The skipper

Eric gives you confidence beforehand by taking the time to share what is planned, everything is wonderfully organized. You just have to think about your luggage. Our skipper was Julien. An outstanding skipper who lives sailing intensely. In addition to being excellent, he knows how to share in a calm and structured way. We learned a lot. He knew how to adapt to our beginner's level while pushing us to do more, within reason. To be with him on the boat is to be a member of the crew. We immediately felt confident. He knows how to give firm instructions while remaining calm. In short, there is nothing to say about his quality as a skipper and teacher. These 3 days are also a human experience. We all live together, skipper included, and that's what's so great! We are a team. All the tasks are shared out between all the members and that's really nice. It makes for a pleasant atmosphere on the boat and everyone has something to gain from it. This doesn't prevent one member of the crew from taking a breath of fresh air on his own or getting into his own bubble at a given moment. It feels good too! A big thank you for these 3 days in this parallel world. It was so strange to be back on earth, we were all moved.

Best memories

On Sunday morning the weather was changeable with gusts up to 40 knots by noon. To get out we had to make a quick decision and the sailing would be short anyway to get back to port in time. After taking the time to analyse the wind and gusts we decided to leave the harbour. It was a short but intense trip. With gusts to master. We were practising turning around, the boat was constantly leaning one way and the other the other way. Before this trip, we never thought we would be able to do that. And I still can't believe it. But thanks to our skipper Julien we were able to do it. He measured the risk and explained to each of us our roles and everything went perfectly. On the other hand, we didn't escape a general nap in the afternoon! It had taken all our energy!

The cruise

A magnificent cruise to discover the islands of southern Brittany! Very good atmosphere on the boat initiated from the start by the skipper: relaxation and pedagogy. Not only do we enjoy the pleasure of a cruise, we also learn to sail according to our abilities. And when the weather really deteriorates (squalls under a storm), you still feel safe because it anticipates and decides wisely.

The skipper

Eric is also a good cook who has delighted us with a variety of dishes. Surprising when you see the size of the kitchen!

Best memories

This cruise was my gift for my 50th birthday. Seeing the steel grey and swaying Atlantic Ocean under the storm as warm water rains poured over us was a great moment of emotion for me. Magic! Magic! Without a doubt the most beautiful birthday gift I have ever received. A novice sailor ;-)
