Your cruise
Cast off in the south of Brittany from the port of Crouesty and discover the beauty of the Gulf of Morbihan or the Bay of Quiberon. During this day, you will be accompanied by Pierre, your professional skipper who is passionate about the region. With him, go on an adventure, learn more about these lands and enjoy an amazing day.
Whether you are alone, with friends, as a couple, with your family or with colleagues, this stopover is waiting for you. It's up to you to get on board the sailboat and set sail!
Your possible stops during this cruise
The itinerary will depend on the weather conditions, your wishes and those of your skipper, as well as, of course, health constraints.
Your skipper will meet you at 8:30 am in front of the Maison du Port du Crouesty (this time can be changed according to the tides) to board the boat. Once the introductions have been made at around 9am, set sail for a day's sailing from Crouesty: Gulf of Morbihan and Quiberon Bay.
Depending on your choice of destination, you will discover one of the islands in the Gulf of Morbihan or Quiberon Bay:
Île aux Moines : "The jewel of the Gulf of Morbihan
The longest of the islands in the Gulf of Morbihan, with its almost southern climate, favours a great diversity of plants: 350 plant species have been recorded! camellias, giant fig trees, mimosas, palm trees, fuchsias... So, go and discover the treasures that the captains brought back to us from their sea voyages! In addition to a spectacular fauna, this island abounds in birds. Then, at the bend of the paths, admire the changing landscapes: between the tangle of small white fishermen's houses and pretty small sheltered coves altering with the rocky points, a real visual spectacle is offered to you. Do not hesitate to wander to the south of the island where you will come across the dolmen of Penhap, this megalithic monument would have today: 5 to 6000 years of history! And to think that at that time the island was still attached to the continent.
The Island of Arz "the island with a wild character
Here, nature is still preserved, populated by many local species. This island is also the second home of the Siberian geese. So, go and discover the charm of its village and get ready to climb the "mountain" located in its center. Be careful, it culminates at 13 meters! And yes, this island is very accessible, especially thanks to its coastal paths, offering you the opportunity to reach beautiful beaches without heavy efforts. Moreover, we advise you to cross the dike of the Moulin de Berno, where you will discover the "old fashioned" functioning of a tide mill reminding the activity of the island in the Middle Ages. The island of Arz is a real invitation to relaxation, to fullness and serenity.
The island of Houat : Meaning "The duck" in Breton
The motto of Houat, Ag er mor e viuamb ("From the sea we live") shows how fishing was at the time an essential activity for the island. Today, the fleet has been reduced but the port has retained all its charm. So, on this island, walk around the village and wander between small granite houses, the church of Saint Gildas (1766-1840) and beautiful beaches. Like the splendid Treac'h ar Gouret (aka Grande Plage), a convex beach!
The island of Hœdic : Meaning "The little duck" in Breton
Twice as small as its big sister Houat, the island of Hoëdic has long lived on fishing alone. Today, the lobster traps remain, along with a few fishermen perpetuating the tradition. Here you can admire a coastline, flat and bare, offering an alternation of creeks, beaches and rocky capes. In this place, plenitude reigns once again. Without cars and bordered by turquoise waters, this island is a true natural and authentic space to discover.
Note that a snack and a hot drink will be offered in the morning before your arrival on the island estimated at 11:30. Then, it's up to you to seize a moment of freedom on one of these islands, escape your mind, enjoy moments with your loved ones, contemplating the beauty of the region.
The return to the boat is scheduled for 14:30 for an arrival at the port of Crouesty at 17:30. (Approximate times).
