Beautiful region, 3-day course with more than favorable weather conditions 😀.
Hervé is easy to get along with, an outstanding navigator and an excellent chef. It was a great way to discover and enjoy sailing, and we'll be doing it again.
3 excellent days despite capricious weather, as the first 2 days were spent under motor. The 3rd day made up for it with a nice sail from Herbaudiere to La Turballe.
If the organizer is skippair, top, and if the organizer is Hervé, even more top, because he's an engaging, experienced man with lots to say
Three days of fantastic boating with Hervé. We sailed from La Turballe to Quiberon and the Gulf of Morbihan. We had a great time both on the water and in the evening at the port, where we enjoyed the restaurants. Highly recommendable!
Hervé is a very experienced skipper who loves to share his knowledge and knows how to make himself accessible to those who sail with him, giving them as much autonomy as possible while keeping safety as his priority.
We embarked with my partner and my nine-year-old daughter, who I wanted to introduce to sailing and life on board. The program and stopovers were chosen in consultation with Hervé, who was able to offer us a coherent course perfectly adapted to our expectations and corresponding to our respective levels. We had a great time on board.
Hervé is a very calm captain, patient and a very good cook, a serious sailor who knows his boat inside out.
The care and organization is perfect as well as the communication until the departure It is an incredible experience and a strong parenthesis of life It was a birthday gift for my dad who had stars in his eyes on the return, delighted with this weekend and his passage on board
Hervé is an experienced and reassuring man, with great qualities of adaptation and benevolence who knew how to put his crew at ease. The human exchange was strong and in all simplicity
We spent 3 days out of time Hervé made us feel at ease and our fellow travellers were very nice. The objective was to discover sailing in our area, we learnt a lot! As soon as we came back we already wanted to go back!
Hervé adapted to our desires, and adapted the navigation to our level
We had two days of sailing planned with Hervé, but unfortunately the storm came along with us! Nevertheless, we were able to sail for a short day from La Roche-Bernard, before finding shelter in the port of La Turballe. The next day, as we were unable to sail, Hervé offered us a short and very instructive theoretical course on reading charts and calculating tides. A very nice first experience of sailing, which made us want to come back on another occasion, and hopefully under the sun!
Hervé is very friendly, he has many stories to share with his guests. He is a good teacher, patient, who has the heart to transmit what he knows. We learned a lot during these two days!
We embarked for 2 days over a weekend to get a first experience of sailing. This format corresponds perfectly to our beginner level. We sailed from La Roche Bernard to Piriac sur Mer. Unfortunately for me, I was sick for a good part of the sailing, but that doesn't discourage me!
Hervé was a very good trainer. He succeeded in quickly putting us at ease on his boat and supervising us efficiently during the manoeuvres. We will also remember the moments of sharing and disconnection that we experienced during these two days. A big thank you for this experience! Good luck ;) Clément and Olivia
We had planned two days of sailing from La Roche-Bernard. In fact, the storm "Zyprian" had chosen the same days to animate the Finistère coast. Nevertheless, we sailed for half a day in front of the depression and thanks to our skipper's skill, we found refuge in the port of La Turballe very shortly before the disturbance arrived. At the end of the afternoon, the storm arrived and during the night we greatly appreciated the protection of the harbour while enjoying the windy atmosphere with the whistling of the rigging and the chop of the water. The next day, the sea remained "rough". Hervé gave us a course in maritime orientation using the chart and tidal calculations, which was very useful for safe navigation. We then reached La Roche by road, as the ocean was not accessible. During these two days, we also appreciated Hervé's personality, who, thanks to his many years at sea, had many fascinating stories to tell us. He was keen to share his knowledge with us and was attentive to each of us, making us participate in the navigation of the boat to the best of our abilities.
We very much appreciated the exchanges with the organizer Skippair, clear and precise information adapted to our needs. It will be a pleasure to use your services on another occasion. Marie-Claire and Bernard
A wonderful time to discover sailing! We could see beautiful landscapes and see Brittany from the ocean, it changes a lot. We were afraid not to be able to sail because of the lack of wind but we could and we did not get tired of it. Some aches and sunburns after this course but we came out of it with a big smile and lots of memories in our heads!
Hervé is a perfect teacher and very pedagogical, we don't want to miss a thing he says. He took our needs into account and was able to teach us everything we wanted. He knows how to put us at ease and reassures us when we have doubts about our navigation. We can't wait to meet him again!
I think we'll agree that our best memory will be the number of laughs and anecdotes we shared with Hervé and Fabrice. Very nice encounters on a magnificent and perfectly maintained boat.
Southern Brittany is always a fantastic setting for sailing. La Roche-Bernard and its harbour on the Vilaine river are sublime and one feels already very well when arriving on the spot welcomed by a super nice and considerate captain. The boat is a delight to navigate and the passage of the lock under the direction of Hervé a formality. The discovery of the water and the landscapes that it allows to admire was up to our hopes and the anchorage that our Captain offered us was really super nice. A very nice moment that this course despite the lack of wind.
Hervé is a very good teacher with the patience that befits our level of total beginner but very square. He allowed us to take our first steps as sailors in a relaxed and good mood. The boat is very well maintained and of an exemplary cleanliness thanks to its captain who in addition cooks with a master hand.
There are so many anecdotes and laughter during this course that it is difficult to evoke only one memory but this evening in front of Dumet Island at anchor and the small dishes prepared together with Hervé were undoubtedly among the best.
Wonderful escapade on a beautiful sailboat with a top skipper. Hervé is very nice and knows how to make his trainees feel comfortable. Thank you Hervé for all these nice memories. And thank you also to Valentine and Etienne for the laughs we shared.
👌
Hervé's boat is very comfortable. It is very well equipped, we don't lack anything on board. I had the opportunity to resume sailing in this part of Brittany with its atypical ports and landscapes and there is something for everyone.
Hervé knows how to take care of his team-mates by giving them a lot of attention and all that around a faultless conviviality. I'm even a little ashamed that I haven't touched the cooking utensils... He'll adapt to your desires with his sailing experience. I can only invite you to embark with him and I am convinced that this trip will be unforgettable.
I believe that the experience of sailing into Trinity Harbour due to engine cooling failure was a perfect complement to my panel of small galleys that can occur on a sailboat. I found this situation quite stressful but my captain handled the situation with a masterful hand.
Very good guide, we had a great time with Hervé! The trip went really well, Hervé was attentive to our expectations and was able to teach us the basics of sailing! Thanks again!
Excellent
We spent two extraordinary days and nights on Hervé's boat. The boat itself is magnificent, superbly equipped, and spacious. We sailed the 2 full days to the island of hoedic and it was magical.
Hervé is a very good skipper, he learns well and puts you at ease straight away. He let us take the helm directly and taught us a lot of terms, knots, map reading,... He is passionate and happy to leave with his trainees. We highly recommend him!
An excellent weekend spent sailing between Le Crouesty, Belle-Ile and Lorient, with beautiful weather and the right wind. The boat is very comfortable and has all the facilities for a pleasant stay
Hervé is a very experienced skipper. He likes to share his (many) sailing anecdotes, and takes pleasure in communicating his passion. He encourages the trainees to practise manoeuvring the boat, but always stays close by to keep them confident. I strongly recommend him
Great 2 day cruise. Great weather not to spoil anything, just missed a bit of wind. Hervé welcomed us superbly on his boat. The fact that we were able to leave the day before, in order to pass the dam in the evening was a real surprise. He made us feel at ease on his boat, and the next day Hervé let me steer his Sun Fast 42, which was just fantastic. We took part in setting the sails, anchoring, passing the dam and the lazarette. Hervé understood our expectations and perfectly knew how to meet them. I recommend without hesitation. I am thinking of coming back to deepen my knowledge. Thanks again Hervé
Hervé is passionate and likes to share his knowledge and experience. I enjoyed his stories and his deckchair projects, as well as his courses in cartography, tide calculation and route tracing
