Your possible stops during this cruise
please note that all itineraries are subject to change at the captain's discretion. That being said, here's what awaits you aboard our Seychelles gulet cruise:
Itinerary from November to April:
DAY 1: Mahé
You'll board at Inter Island Quay at 10:30 am. You'll be greeted by the captain and set sail for Île Ronde at noon. You'll arrive in the late afternoon and enjoy a barbecue dinner on board.
DAY 2: Praslin
In the morning, you'll head for Praslin to discover the Vallée de Mai, a World Heritage Site. As you stroll along the valley's paths, you'll catch a glimpse of many endemic palm trees. Join the boat in the afternoon for a diving or water sports session. Dinner and overnight at anchor on Praslin Island.
DAY 3: La Digue
The morning is dedicated to sailing to La Digue. If you wish, you can rent a bicycle to explore the island. La Digue's charm lies, among other things, in the beauty of the landscape formed by its huge granite boulder formations, notably at Anse Source d'Argent, one of the world's most picturesque beaches. When you call at La Digue, we recommend a visit to the Union Estate, a major network of traditional activities. Here you can visit a copra factory, a vanilla plantation and a shipyard.
DAY 4: The Sisters
In the morning, you'll set sail for Grande Soeur and Petite Soeur. These islands offer excellent snorkeling and diving. Visiting them is also very interesting, as they are uninhabited. In the afternoon, you can visit Coco Island, a small granite jewel and perfect snorkeling spot, with its many tropical fish.
DAY 5: Booby and Aride
You'll then head off to Booby Island for a morning of diving and water sports. After lunch, you'll sail to Aride Island, one of the Seychelles' most beautiful nature reserves, with its large concentration of seabirds and fish, most of them endemic.
DAY 6: Curieuse
We head for Curieuse Island for another day's cruising. Sparsely populated, it's a delight to wander along its paths, through a vast mangrove forest and visit the giant tortoise farm or the ruins of the former leper colony. For lunch, enjoy a barbecue on the island. After lunch, you can try your hand at the various water sports on offer. If you don't fancy water sports, you're free to enjoy a beach session, alternating between swimming and lounging. In the afternoon, you'll visit the charming island of Saint Pierre, an ideal spot for diving thanks to its granite rocks, which provide perfect shelter for the local marine life.
DAY 7: Return to Mahé
After breakfast, you'll set sail for Mahé. After a final stop at Ile Sèche, where you can go PMT or diving, you'll then spend the night in Sainte Anne Marine Park.
DAY 8: Disembarkation in Victoria harbor
You'll disembark in the morning at around 8:30 am. This will be the end of a dream cruise in the heart of the Seychelles.
Itinerary from May to October :
Day 1: Victoria Harbour, Beau-Vallon Bay
Embark for your cruise at Victoria Harbour's Inter Island Quay. At 10:30 a.m. you'll meet the captain, who will introduce you to the boat and explain the details of the cruise. You'll leave Victoria around midday to sail along the northern coast of Mahé, passing through the magnificent Beau-Vallon Bay. The island's north-western coast boasts granite formations, rich vegetation and turquoise waters. In the evening, enjoy a barbecue on board.
Day 2: Baie Ternay
You'll set sail for the magnificent Baie Ternay marine park and nature reserve. Its crystal-clear, calm waters will allow you to dive and discover an environment of exceptional beauty. In the afternoon, you'll head back to Baie de Beau-Vallon, an excellent spot to enjoy a sunset tinged with orange and pink.
Day 3: Île de Cousin
Early in the morning, you'll set course for Cousin Island (off Praslin) to visit its highly protected bird sanctuary. Indeed, Cousin is a haven for a multitude of rare species. You'll be able to spot Seychelles song magpies, one of the rarest birds in the world, as well as many other endemic land birds.
Day 4: Praslin Island
Head for Anse Possession! You'll set off in the morning to visit the Vallée de Mai, a World Heritage site. This ancient forest is home to double walnuts, cocos de mer and Seychelles black parrots. The latter are found only on Praslin. Take a stroll along the valley's paths to observe the many endemic palm trees, before returning to the boat for an afternoon of diving, water sports and P.M.T. (pleasure craft).
Day 5: La Digue
Morning sail to La Digue. Let yourself be lulled by the slow rhythm of ox carts and bicycles, very common means of transport on the island. If you're lucky, you may catch a glimpse of endemic flycatchers: the Seychelles Paradise Widow. La Digue also stands out for its enormous granite boulder formations, notably at Anse Source d'Argent, one of the most photographed beaches in the world. We recommend exploring the whole island by bike and taking a tour of the Union Estate: this vast network of traditional island activities is well worth the detour. See a copra factory, a vanilla plantation and the shipyard.
Day 6: Curieuse Island, Saint Pierre
In the morning, you'll set sail for Curieuse Island. Virtually uninhabited, you can wander along its paths through a vast mangrove forest, visiting the giant tortoise farm and the historic ruins of the former leper colony. Have lunch on the island (barbecue) and enjoy the various water sports available. Alternatively, head to the beach and relax on a magnificent beach and in front of turquoise waters. In the afternoon, you'll discover the picturesque island of Saint Pierre, an excellent site for P.M.T. as well as diving, thanks to its granite rocks, offering perfect shelter for local marine life.
Day 7: Anse Lazio, Sainte Anne
Sail to Anse Lazio, one of the most beautiful beaches in the Seychelles. It's an exceptional spot for swimming, snorkeling and other water sports. After lunch, you'll head back to Mahé, where you'll anchor for the night in the Sainte Anne Marine Park.
Day 8: Disembarkation in Victoria
Early the next morning (around 08:30) you'll disembark at Victoria harbor (Inter Island Quay), after a magical week in an exceptional destination.
