Your cruise
Embark with Christophe aboard his sailboat to discover Corsica by the sea.
It also offers to accompany you and guide you on beautiful hikes at every step on earth. The perfect combo to disconnect!
Your professional skipper will meet you in Ajaccio and then descend for a week to Bonifacio. All along the route you will have the pleasure of discovering the sumptuous landscapes of the Island of Beauty.
In addition, Christophe will be delighted to introduce you to navigation by making you participate in the maneuvers, if you wish. The program is flexible and depends on your desires and your expectations, your skipper is at your disposal to offer you a custom cruise.
Your possible stops during this cruise
As an indication, here is an idea of what your cruise with Christophe could look like:
He gives you an appointment on Sunday at 14h to board. You will meet the boat and your skipper will explain the rules of life on board.
Then it will be time to set sail, heading south to Bonifacio, with of course very nice stops on the road.
The opportunity to discover the charming village of Campomoro for example, south of the Gulf of Valinco, as well as the many coves and beaches all more heavenly than each other.
Finally you will arrive at the beautiful Bonifacio and its creeks.
And why not take a trip to the Lavezzi Islands before going back to Ajaccio? You do not take any risk, there coast is beautiful everywhere.
You will be back in Ajaccio on Saturday at the end of the morning.
To get an idea of a classic day on board, it takes 4-5 hours of sailing, a two-hour ride, all interspersed with swimming, relaxation, meals and aperitifs. The little swimming at sunset has already tried more than one! Nights are spent at anchor, hanging on an anchor or buoy. The timing depends on the weather and your desires, each cruise is unique. Christophe is not a guide but knows the area well and will tell you beautiful walks and hikes to do every day and will join you as far as possible.
Of course all this is optional and if you prefer to stay on board to relax, sunbathe on the beach or visit a small village, it is quite possible. If you want to introduce you to navigation, Christophe will be happy to explain you and to make you participate in maneuvers.

We sailed from Ajaccio to the Lavezzi Islands and then went back up to Ajaccio, all in one week at the beginning of July 2020. The weather was mild, although a 2-day swell forced us to revise our sailing forecasts a little. There were 6 of us, my 3 children and myself, as well as Christophe, the skipper, and Marion, his companion. Corsica is beautiful from the sea. The regular anchorages allowed us to swim often and go for short hikes. I wanted each of us to find something to suit us (44, 20, 18, 4 years old) and this was the case. In short, a successful stay where we had a lot of fun!
Christophe and Marion welcomed us on their boat with professionalism and generosity. We felt good with them and very safe. They were open, adaptable and efficient in every situation. We shared more than a cruise with them, a beautiful moment in our lives in the form of a freeze frame after this unprecedented period of confinement. This beautiful dream has kept its promises thanks to them!
One evening, looking at the stars, time was as if suspended...
A wonderful week of cruising aboard Christophe's sailboat. Very beautiful boat from 1982, all made of wood, very authentic. Magnificent landscapes, turquoise water, breathtaking sunsets and sunrises... and an extraordinary experience!
Christophe is adorable, he takes care of the well-being and safety of everyone on board. He taught us the basics of navigation with patience and kindness, really Great! And of course, he showed us some of his favorite wild beaches on the south coast... only happiness!
There are many anecdotes about this week's cruise: the seasickness at the beginning of the cruise where I finally dropped into the water to be finally released; the dishes washing sessions by Antoine at the back of the boat with hundreds of fish coming to eat the remains; the dolphins that we followed for a while; the aperitifs with music; the sailing moments...
We left with our family, with our two grown-up children aged 23 and 25 and their 2 friends. We all loved it: a discovery for the novices and always an enchantment for the more experienced. The tasks were distributed naturally, some of them were always present for the manoeuvres and others preferred to prepare good dishes to accompany the delicious Corsican charcuterie that we had bought at the Ajaccio market. thanks to the experience of Christophe who has been sailing in Corsica for several years, we enjoyed our cruise week to the full; we dreamed of discovering the Lavezzi islands and we were able to get off Ajaccio to the islands, despite very lively conditions (wind force 6 headwind), which then calmed down well. Christophe made us discover isolated and wild anchorages during the high season. It allowed us to spend a real week of holidays with all the incomparable advantages of a sailing cruise, without the stress of the boat, and the anchoring and harbour manoeuvres, which are very delicate considering the crowds. In short, we only had the good sides.
At the technical level: Christophe is very competent, he knows his boat perfectly well. Impeccable on port and anchoring manoeuvres which are very technical due to high traffic. On the choice of destinations: he knows all the anchorages by heart, he also advised us a very nice stroll on land, his knowledge of Corsica is very preciousExcellent contact and very pleasant, Christophe is attentive to everyone. Relationships quickly became friendly and we shared life on board with 7. Christophe was able to adapt the program so that we could meet 3 people from the family, on holiday in Corsica ashore, who came to discover our boat and dine with us: my 10-year-old nephew loved it, probably a future Skippair customer! and on the last day, my daughter swam with a friend.
In the romantic style: A stroll on Lavezzi Island at sunset, almost alone on the island, a magical place... In the relaxing style: a board game, in the evening on the boat by candlelight all 7 where Christophe beat us all as he discovered the game, a good moment to laugh, out of time.
