Your cruise
From Port-Médoc or Royan, set sail for a weekend to discover the Gironde estuary with Eric, your professional skipper, who will introduce you to the wonders of the region and especially the Cordouan lighthouse.
Your possible stops during this cruise
Discover the magnificent troglodyte cliffs of Meschers, the delightful fishing port of Royan, and above all, in season, the famous Cordouan lighthouse (entry price included in the package). You may well wonder: Why visit a lighthouse? This lighthouse is actually a historical monument. At the exit to the estuary it is one of the most beautiful stone lighthouses in France. Inside you'll find the king's bedroom and a chapel where weddings are still held. It is also one of the last manned lighthouses in the country. Click here for further information. From April to late October, Eric also takes small groups on visits – he is a magnificent tourist guide who has a whole host of stories to tell about this royal lighthouse. If you spend the night on board, you will either spend the night at anchor in a sheltered bay or in a port depending on the weather. NB: this cruise is open to individual passengers but a minimum of two passengers are required for the cruise to take place. Cabins are mixed.

Nice discovery of the Gironde estuary with Jérôme, Eric's skipper. Sun and East wind with gusts to 25 knots, on the way to the Cordouan lighthouse with a sporty amphibious barge landing! after a night in Port Medoc, we headed to the east coast of the estuary to Talmont and Meschers sur Gironde with their beautiful villas and troglodyte coasts. Back to Royan for the night, then departure to go back to La Palmyre, and return to Port Medoc via the Cordouan lighthouse. Nice discovery of this beautiful and huge estuary and its coastline
A very good Skipper Jérome, nice and who tells us his life course, sporty, literary, and cook we don't get bored with him! A small drawback on the last day which was shortened for a sea walk booked by other clients at 3 pm. Nevertheless Eric took us back to Royan by ferry
To have been able to steer this beautiful Dufour, beautiful opportunity to feel the reactions of the boat under gusts of 27 knots. The docking of the amphibious barge for Cordouan, to transfer on it in 10 seconds, to lose its cap in the same time, recovery at sea by the pilot with obligation to let it dry and drip on my head, shaken by the crossing of the sandbanks in wheel version, then the landing at the foot of the lighthouse such of the GI's in Normandy....sportif this ballad! Happy to have recovered my cap because of the sun for the following days, it left to the sea the last one during a tack in front of the lighthouse of Cordouan! This time no possible recovery, to believe that its destiny was Cordouan
Great cruise for two days, comfortable boat, interesting visits and discovery of sailing. Aperitif at sunset and meal on the boat was great!
A big thank you to Jérome, a great skipper who, despite the lack of wind, succeeded in making us discover sailing!
We thank Eric and Jérôme the Skipper for this discovery of a 3-day sailboat cruise... A sailboat for both of us and the favorable weather to learn how to sail and discover the best sailor... Thank you and good continuationFabienne and Laurent
Jérôme was great during these 3 days as much on the organization and the program: the Gironde estuary, Royan, Talmon sur Gironde, Meschères sur Gironde and the Cordouan Lighthouse, a lot of professionalism and experience.
We went on the Cordoba cruise with Eric. We were very well received. We visited the Cordouan lighthouse, well explained by Eric. We also sailed to Mescher's cliffs. Everything was great. A friendly atmosphere just like at home. Thanks to Eric for introducing us to his passion.
very well
