What is your motto ?

It's not the journeys we make, it's the journeys that have made me!

How did you come to do this job?

I did my first optimist training course in 1993 on Reunion Island, where I lived for 5 years of my childhood. I was hooked and have never stopped sailing and water sports since. In 2023, a long-haul trip with my family made me want to make a career out of it...

What people say about you?

May they appreciate my calmness in all circumstances and my openness to others and the world.

To know about you, apart from your job?

I was diagnosed as a child with a growth deformity in my hips, which meant a few stays in hospital and the development of my coping skills. Fortunately today, my disabled status and a large scar are the only visible parts of my handicap. Vive la vie!

Life on a journey

Your best memory ?

The arrival in Lanzarote after 5 days at sea, during a crossing from Morocco to the Canary archipelago. The very light conditions meant that we discovered the relief 24 hours before arrival, each detail of the landscape gradually becoming clearer, letting us slowly return to a civilization we had left behind during the nav.

For you, what is a successful sea trip?

A successful sea voyage is a safe voyage!

Your style of practice?

I do everything that goes on the water! Light sailing, sports cruising, cruising cruising, wingfoil, surfing and even kitesurfing and, for a while, a bit of windsurfing. I've got an affinity and a history with all of them!
