Jean-Philippe holds a Master's degree in computer science from the University of Paris-Dauphine. Between 1983 and 2005, he worked successively as a design engineer, consultant, project manager and then director of a computer science department
Passionate about sailing, he sailed in races and cruises for 25 years and then sailed around the Atlantic - Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Canary Islands, Cape Verde, Tobago, Barbados, Grenadines, Virgin Islands, Santo Domingo, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Bahamas, Florida, New-York, Norfolk - with his wife and 4 children in 2002
In 2005, he trained as a Merchant Marine and obtained a Captain 200 certificate before creating his own agency. Jean-Philippe then sailed professionally in the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Seychelles, Thailand, Polynesia...
