There are two types of people: those who make the most of life and those who don't. I'm in the first group.

My grandfather was a fisherman in Catillo in Fuerteventura. I would accompany him regularly on sea trips, so I started to learn how to sail at the age of seven. It was a revelation to me. I immediately discovered what I was going to do with my life. I took lessons, got better and learned to read the sea and understand the wind. Surf came later in my teenage ages. My friends and I would spend our weekends on our surfboards. It was great fun. During my engineering studies, I kept sailing and surfing. I began my career as an engineer but with the financial crisis, things got tough. So I decided to become a professional skipper. I joined a sailing school full-time and got my professional diploma three years ago. One day in Corallero, I fell in love with one particular yacht that had the size and style required for leisure and sporting cruises at sea. I bought it within the hour; And now it's my work tool, my work buddy and second home!

Life on a journey

Near Madeira on the return journey to the Canaries, we came across a series of huge deserted islands. I didn't even know they existed. There was something supernatural about the islands. Like some movie setting.

Fun, festive and mad about sport, I like sharing life and laughing whenever possible. Life is a beautiful and wonderful thing and on board a yacht with great people and great food and drink, life becomes a dream.
