The skipper

On this cruise, you will discover the south coasts of Corsica and Sardinia or the islands of Tuscany with Christophe, professional skipper and amateur of both sea and mountain.

It glides over the water as if it were snow!

When I was 11, I went to a camp in Corsica where I learned to sail. I loved this experience very much. So, at the age of 15, I decided to sail across the sea in the direction of Ireland. During this voyage, I made myself the following promise: “When I grow up, I’ll have a cabin in the mountains and a boat in the sea!” And that was that. Several years later, I became both a sailing and a skiing instructor! Over the last 10 years, I have sailed all over the world: Tahiti, the Caribbean, across the Atlantic, the Mediterranean… and in the end, I have finally settled in my first destination: Corsica!

That I’m very friendly! People say that I’m very attentive and considerate, but for me that’s just part of being a sailing teacher.

Life on a journey

Generally, I sail in Corsica, what I find to be the most beautiful island, but I also love to travel further away, particularly in the direction of volcanic islands. I also enjoy themed voyages. Once I reenacted the voyage of Ulysses: Aeolian islands, Ancient Greece...I loved it! If I had to keep one memory, it would be of the anchorage at the island of Stromboli. Protected at sea, in a sailboat, while I watched the Stromboli volcano’s eruptions for 20 minutes, some of them being eruptions of lava...It was an incredible spectacle that I will never forget!

A successful cruise means that my protégés are happy and return the following year!

Travel in beautiful places, with a great attitude! What I love about navigation, it’s the spirit of finding your freedom, a freedom to do what makes you happy, sailing, diving for what’s essential, as well as simple hikes through the woods and unusual encounters, sharing, laughter and joy. I love sharing my passion for sailing while on a cruise, while making sure to preserve moments of deep relaxation, enjoyment, and discovery through unexpected detours of the Corsican coast!
