What is your motto ?

"What a better evocation than that of Baudelaire:" Free man, you will always cherish the sea! " The sea makes you dream, Get away for a crossing Discover new horizons Learn from your passion Share an unforgettable adventure See the beautiful images that the sea offers us

How did you come to do this job?

Skipper since the age of 18, trained in sailing crews, I naturally passing on knowledge to others. I embark every year, through various programmes, young people, youths, disabled people, novices and experienced, all for their greater pleasure. As such, I am involved with young minors in difficulty in joint actions with the judicial protection of young people. I like to share my view on the sea, on our beautiful regions, discovering new landscapes, over a weekend or on longer journeys. I started professionally in the industry, and decided a few years ago to live my passion of the sea and meeting others; I have passed the Yachtmaster Captain Offshore & Ocean exams. For 30 years, I have had several boats, made many crossings and participated in lots of regattas.

What people say about you?

I adapt the program according to the desires and the possibilities. Everyone participates in cooking and life on board, I like cooking, and I often make one of my specialties for my clients I am attentive, not necessarily very talkative, calm, and patient. I like the manoeuvres to be well done, so I explain them well! I give confidence by explaining how the boat works, all in convivial manner!

Life on a journey

Your best memory ?

I have many so many great memories! A return from Azores, sailing using a sextant by calculating the passing of the sun and stars, the horizon as far as the eye can see, a flat sea, under the spinnaker, the boat sailing silently. We come across two whales that we approach, pass to the back of the boat to continue their fishing a little further. We then share an immense feeling, not of being at home but of simply being invited.

For you, what is a successful sea trip?

It is the glistening eyes of the sailors when they get back to land with their heads full of images. The teamwork of a crew that shared the emotion of a beautiful adventure, who have created their own language, ready to get back to the sea to challenge new horizons. It is from having had and shared unforgettable moments.

Your style of practice?

Offshore or in the open sea, I like to share my gaze on the sea and sailing, discovering dazzling landscapes, satisfaction of a successful adventure, good food and teamwork of group. Everyone can take part in carrying out the manoeuvres, learning how to sail while improving their knowledge, take the helm of NIOB 6; ULDB designed to go fast, it is a very well-equipped, optimised, safe, fast and sensitive ship that gives a lot of pleasure to those who have sailed on it. Trained by our English friends, I always pay close attention to safety.
