As a little boy, I followed my parents from sailboat to sailboat. Very early on, I became passionate about nautical sports and became interested in taking them up as a profession. I have experience as an assistant, rigger, sail repairman, and skipper. I am certified as a merchant marine captain 200v and have over 30 years of experience both in France and abroad. Many of us being seafarers, navigators, adventurers, we have traveled for 7 years as a family across the world and from 2013 to 2014 completed a wonderful journey together from the sands of Bonifacio to the Statue of Liberty in New York City. Navigation is more than a passion, it’s a way of life.

Life on a journey

With so much the past year spent at sea, it is difficult to choose a specific memory. Superb sunsets in the Pacific, moonlit nights in the open sea, run-ins with cactaceas, a visit from the dolphins to our boat is always a moment of grace...The most moving memory is when we anchored at the Statue of Liberty in New York City, having begun all the way back in Bonifacio in 2014.

All the teamwork, sharing, wild laughter, and the emotions we feel at the moment when we promise to see each other again in another small corner of the world…
