What is your motto ?
Fall in love with the Aeolian islands!
How did you come to do this job?
Fabio started sailing on dinghies then bought a 9-metre yacht in the noughties and started sailing the Aeolian Islands and further afield in the Mediterranean. In 2005 he passed his sailing instructor diploma with the Italian Sailing Federation and the International Sailing Associated Federation (ISAF) sea safety certificate to become a professional skipper. He is currently head of the Italian Naval League, a flotilla of 5 Monotype Azzurra 600 yachts used to train new skippers.

Your style of practice?
I feel in my element on a yacht. Obviously I take care of the boat and sailing, but I love it when the crew takes part.
